BOARD OF DIRECTORS' CHAIRMAN

PETRIDIS PAVLOS was born in Thessaloniki. He is professor of Political and Constitutional History in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Law School and visiting professor in Pantion University Sociology Department. He served as chairman and member of Board of Directors in many organizations and was Scientific Adviser in the publications "Proskinio", "Ekfrasi" and "Govosti". Also, he was special adviser in historical documentaries shown on the greek state television channel ET-1 and coordinated historical programmes shown on state television station ET-3. He has writen many books on Greece's political history.

GENERAL DIRECTOR

KOUZINOPOULOS SPIROS, journalist. Born in Serres in 1947. He began working as a journalist since High School when he was an editor in the newspapers "DIMOKRATIKI" and "PHILELEFTHEROS" published in Serres by mr.Karidis. He was also a correspondent of the newspapers "AVGI" and "MAKEDONIKI ORA".

He was persecuted and jailed by the military junta for his ideas and his activities against the dictatorship. He was a candidate of the "United Left" in the Prefecture of Serres in the first parliamentary elections after the fall of the dictatorship.

He worked in many newspapers and magazines while for 20 years he was correspondent of the French Press Agency (AFP) in northern Greece responsible for the Balkan region.

In the period 1982-1989 was elected every year by his colleagues to the Board of Directors of the Daily Newspapers Journalists' Union in Macedonia and Thrace and he participated in many international conferences and meetings of journalists. He was also a member of Thessaloniki's Committee for the International Detente and Peace Secretariat.

Spiros Kouzinopoulos is the author of the books: "Thessaloniki's Heroic May of '36" published in 1976, "The Turkey File" published in 1983, "ELEFTHERIA - the unknown story of the first underground organization and newspaper in the years of the german occupation" published in 1986, "The Execution of Peace" published in 1988.

MEMBERS

ANASTASIADIS GEORGIOS:
Associate Professor of Political History in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Law School. His research work and his writings refer to the History of Modern Greek, Political and Constitutional Institutions and to Thessaloniki's Contemporary History having as a basic source the local press publications. Has published a series of historical books while his articles on history and Thessaloniki have been published in magazines and newspapers and have become the subject of television and radio productions. He is a member of the Association of Greek Constitutionologists and the Authors' Association of Macedonia-Thrace.

TOLIS KONSTANTINOS:
Born in Athens on Jan.28, 1963. He studied Journalism in Rome. He has worked in mass media in Athens and now he is the publisher of the Trikala daily newspaper "Enimerosi". He is the vice-president of the Provincial Daily Newspapers Owners' Association.

IOANNIDOU THALIA:
Director of the newspaper "Kathimerini" office in Thessaloniki since 1987. She began working as a journalist in 1972 for the newspapers "Ellinikos Vorras", "Mesimvrini" and "Kathimerini". Vice-president of the Daily Newspapers Journalists' Union in Macedonia-Thrace. Member of Pan-Hellenic Federation of Journalists' Unions General Board.
