Ios is an island where everyone can be pleased. At the picturesque cafe-bars of the island, like "Sunset" and "Fun Pub" one can have breakfast, a cup of coffee, juice or refreshments, enjoying the beauty of the scenery. At the restaurants, ouzo shops and the tavernas of Ios delicious seafood snacks and fresh fish are served, but also local traditional delicacies, such as the famous "xinotiri" (a kind of cheese). Recommended fish tavernas are "Fiesta", "Delfini", "Korali", "Psarades" and "Zorbas". At Koumbaras' beach, near the port, lies the picturesque taverna called "Polidoras", while in the central street lies "Barba Manolis" offering delicious snacks and excellent local wine.
