The still south-eastern coasts of Mikonos are ideal for water sports lovers. On Panormos bay, or the beaches of Psarou, Ornos, Agios Stefanos, Ftelia, Platis Gialos and Kalafatis, there are sea-bikes and canoes for hire. On the organized beaches, there are also water-skiing and wind-surfing schools where one can rent all the necessary equipment, while for the fans of sea-diving in Kalafatis and Platis Gialos, there is a diving school. In Paraduse you can find the Dive Adventures Diving Club (for further information tel.(0289) 26539, Mr. Costas Sgourakis), while in Psarou, there is a diver's school (for further information tel.(0289) 23579). The big hotel units of the island offer tennis courts, football fields, volleyball and basketball courts, and there is miniature golf in Agios Stefanos. The northern coasts of the island and the nearby Rinia Isle are ideal for fishing. For fans of hunting, there are wild rabbits inland, as well as heath-cocks, quail, turtledoves, partridges and yellow-birds.
