Castle of the Knights
The Castle of Kastelorizo was built in the 14th century by the Magistrate Juan de Eredias on a red rock (Castello Roso), not far from the town.
2 km Ancient Acropole
In the area of the Ancient Acropole, excavations cast light upon Neolithic tombs, ancient and Byzantine constructions, water tanks, towers, Hellenistic Cyclopean walls and other findings, now exhibited in the Archaeological Museum of the island.
