SRNA REVIEW OF DAILY NEWS, March 23, 1996

Srpska Republica News Agency (SRNA) Directory

From: Mirjana Petrovic <almirja@cotton.vislab.olemiss.edu>

SARAJEVO - The Ministry of Information of the Republika Srpska (RS), informs the public that, while visiting a farm in Pilica (N of Zvornik), the U.S. ambassador to the UN, Madleine Allbright, discovered two human bodies in state of decay, which can, in no way, be used as a relevant evidence to the existence of a mass grave. "The discovery of bodies in the former zone of heavy fighting cannot serve for such a conclusion, but it rather servs for the media manipulation aimed at continuation of the daily fashion of blaming the Serbs", says the communique.

MOSCOW - French could revise its role in the peace process in the Former B-H, because "it goes from logic of peace to logic of separation", stated the French foreign misniter, Herve de Sharette at Moscow's meeting of the Contact Group. "I appeal upon all the parties to assume the responsibility for present occur rences. France will not take part in it for so long", warned Herve de Sharette.

CLEVELAND - The military mission is slowly falling apart and the biggest threats to IFOR troops in the Former B-H are unex pected political and civil problems which can not be fought by arms and military force, stated a NATO official. NATO forces were not prepared for this kind of war and these problems were not encountered by Pentagon and Brussels. IFOR troops witnessed how an idea of multiethnic Sarajevo was crumbling down. The Serbs, by leaving Sarajevo, gave an ominous blow to hopes that multiethnic Dayton Bosnia will resurrect, is a common estimate of western diplomats and military officials.

SARAJEVO - The regular IFOR's press conference, which was due to be held in Pale at 11:00 hrs, was not held because IFOR representatives did not show up at the planned time.

DOBOJ - The VRS First Krajina Corps Commission for POW Exchange, and the Tuzla District Commission, failed to reach an agreement yesterday in Tuzla on release of 129 VRS members from the Tuzla Prison. A member of the VRS commission, Branislav Marusic, stated for SRNA that the release of prisoners did not take place for the Tuzla Commission did not get any instruction from its Sarajevo authorities.

LONDON - As Josip BrozTito believed that the "national key" will provide Yugoslavia longexistence, on the same way the Hague Tribunal eventually corrected itself, bringing, according to the "key" several indictments against the Bosnian Muslims. The Hague Tribunal finally charged three Muslims - Zejnil Delalic, Hazim Delalic and Esad Landza - of committing crimes against the Serbs in the Celebici Camp, writes SRNA's London correspondent, Radomir Sekulic, in a commentary titled "Is The Hague Tribunal Working According to National Key".
