SARAJEVO - The president in the B-H Presidency, Momcilo Krajisnik, said that there are two armies in B-H - the RS Army and Army of B-H Federation - so the idea of a single army is not acceptable. He stated this at the Standing Military Committee session, held at the Faculty of Elecrtrical Engineering in Lukavica, and added that during the work on the Committee's Rules of Procedure the "most contentious were the issue of the composition of the Standing Committee and issue of chairman".

SARAJEVO - The B-H Council of Ministers adopted the quick start package, which was subsequently verified by the B-H Chamber of Peoples and the House of Representatives of the B-H Parliamentarian Assembly. The Council also discussed a possibility of the opening the airports in Banjaluka, Tuzla and Mostar for commercial flights, and concluded that a solution to this issue must be found by Monday, when NATO secretary-general, Javier Solana, should arrive to B-H. "Many things discussed at the meeting were of a grave importance not only for RS and B-H Federation, but for their neighbours, as well", stated the co-president in the Council of ministers, Boro Bosic.

SARAJEVO - The B-H Chamber of Peoples adopted a proposal by the Council of Ministers to form a commission to determine the level of custom tariffs. It also verified the Agreement between B-H and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

SARAJEVO - The B-H Presidency made some progress over the issues relating the Rules of Procedure of the Standing Military Committee, stated deputy high representative. Michael Steiner, in Lukavica. "As the Parliamentarian Assembly adopted the Quick Start Package, I became very tolerant", he said, adding that there are some questions remain unresolved.

BEOGRAD - The members of the International Commission for Missing Persons (ICMP) agreed to urge their respective governments to release all prisons of war currently held in prisons in B-H, Croatia and Yugoslavia, except those indicted by the Hague Tribunal, stated the president of the RS National Assembly, Dragan Kalinic, after the meeting. The third ICMP session was attended by representatives of RS, FR Yugoslavia, Croatia and B- H Federation.

VENICE - The Council of Europe Commission for Democracy and Legitimacy started its 21st session in Venice. RS representatives, Aleksandar Pavic and Milan Dupor, presented the concept of institution of ombudsman in RS, prepared by the president of the RS Constitutional Court, Gaso Mijanivic. They explained the importance of the institution of ombudsman for development of democracy in post-communist and post-war period.
