BANJALUKA - The president in the B-H Presidency from RS, Momcilo Krajisnik, president of the RS National Assembly Dragan Kalinic, and other members of the RS state leadership were allowed to leave "Bosna" Hotel in Banjaluka, blocked by police forces loyal to Biljana Plavsic, but refused to do so until RS prime minister Gojko Klickovic was allowed to join them - this was confirmed in the Presidency of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) for Serbian Lands in Belgrade. Police forces loyal to Biljana Plavsic are deployed in the cellar and around the hotel, while SFOR aircraft flew over the hotel on a low altitude on several occasions. Phone lines with the hotel are disrupted.

BANJALUKA - Illegal police forces formed by RS president Biljana Plavsic are ready to let all RS functionaries out from the hotel except the RS vice- premier Dragan Kijac, which the RS leaders could not accept. Deputy high representative Jacques Klein stated that persons with immunity and their escort could leave the hotel, but "other persons" must lay their arms and show identification documents.

SARAJEVO - RS vice-premiers Aleksa Buha and Velibor Ostojic warned that the holding of the RS state-political leadership detained in the hotel "Bosna" in Banjaluka was an attempt of introduction of the international protectorate over RS. At a press conference in Pale, Ostojic assessed that the renegade president Biljana Plavsic, with the assistance of the part of the international community, was acting inconsistently with the will of the people and in defiance of the RS Constitution. Buha informed journalists that the phone links with the "Bosna" Hotel were disrupted, and said indications existed that three ministers were arrested despite their immunity.

BRCKO - The head of the VRS General Staff, general Pero Colic, stated that RS president Biljana Plavsic succeeded to split the Serbian people, as proved by the latest Banjaluka events when her and SDS followers clashed. "These events bring nothing good, and I think that a final decision on the crisis must be taken by the people", Colic stated.

SARAJEVO - The Presidency of the SDS for Serbian Lands issued a proclamation appealing on all SDS members and RS citizens to help release members of the RS state leadership from the "Bosna" Hotel in Banjaluka. SRNA issues entire proclamation, signed by Aleksa Buha.

BANJALUKA - The president in the B-H Presidency from RS Momcilo Krajisnik positively evaluated the all-Serbian assembly "For Single and Undivided RS" held in the Republic Square in Banjaluka, despite a fact that the rally was banned by the police forces loyal to Biljana Plavsic. At a press conference in the "Bosna" Hotel in Banjaluka, attended by a large number of domestic and foreign journalists, Krajisnik pointed out that "yesterday's assembly itself and the attempts at the banning its holding increased SDS prospects for winning the local elections in Banjaluka for 10 per cent at least. "

BANJALUKA - In his address, deputy in the House of Representatives of the B- H Parliamentarian Assembly, Slobodan Bijelic, pointed out at the honourable intentions of the participants of the all-Serbian assembly "For Single and Undivided RS" held on September 8 in Banjaluka, and stated that "many misunderstandings surfaced at the moment when the Agreement on Special Parallel Relations with FR Yugoslavia was signed."

BANJALUKA - The president of the RS National Assembly, Dragan Kalinic, stated at the all-Serbian assembly in Banjaluka that "this is historic evening of the assembly of Serbian unity and unification and Christianity", and added that "we do not destruct our property, but we will not give the enemy an inch of our land". Greeting "all those who did not surrender and offer on a plate our Parliament to those negligent of democracy and human rights", Kalinic pointed out: "If there is democracy and human rights, we, as legal and legitimate authorities, and SDS, which is not dissolved as a party, will be allowed to hold a Serb, Christian assembly in free and democratic - our Banjaluka."

SARAJEVO - The RS Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) denied news released by BETA news agency that at a check point north of Pale, two Serb policemen were wounded by fire arms - one them seriously. Even though several tens of SFOR armoured vehicles and carriers were deployed at the approaches to Pale, along with the Pale - Jahorina and Pale - Lukavica road, the traffic is regular.

BRCKO - In the clashes with SFOR troops, at the barricade set up two kms from Banjaluka, three civilians from Brcko, who were denied access to the city were injured. PRNJAVOR - Over 7,000 residents who went to all-Serbian assembly, reached the city after many hour blockade, breaking through first a siege formed by the parapolice forces first and then SFOR siege. In the Prnjavor Public Security Centre (CJB), SRNA leaders that 70 buses and 100 passenger cars were stopped on the road for Banjaluka.

PRNJAVOR - The Prnjavor CJB commander, Vlado Zivkovic, stated on September 8 that the events on the road for Banjaluka unambiguously spoke of an planned SFOR attempt to prevent arrival of over a thousand persons who wanted to attend the all-Serbian assmelby in Banjaluka. He expressed his bitterness over the blockade of buses with disabled war veterans and families of fallen soldiers from Doboj.

PARIS - In its Banjaluka reports, the "Euro News" TV network conveyed the call of the president in the B-H Presidency from RS, Momcilo Krajisnik, to RS president Biljana Plavsic to go to the presidential elections and thus check if she still enjoys confidence of the Serbian people. ANSA reports these moves and the incidents in Banjaluka when SDS supporters clashed with Plavsic's loyalists can have irredeemable consequences, providing the reasons why the international community has to desist from one-sided supporting of Biljana Plavsic.

BERLIN - The Berlin daily paper "Tages Spiegel" writes that SFOR, in cooperation with police loyal to president Plavsic, prevented demonstrations in Banjaluka against RS president Biljana Plavsic. "At the approaches to the city about 40 buses were stopped", writes "Tages Spiegel" and adds that several hundred residents attended the all-Serbian assembly "For Single and Undivided RS".

NOVI SAD - A ban for the Serbs from RS to enter Banjaluka is a highlight of political inconsistence of RS president Biljana Plavsic, stated the president of the Southern-Backa Board of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS), Miodrag Mircic, in Novi Sad. "Barricades at the approaches to Banjaluka, with SFOR takns and carriers deployed on the road and aircraft over the heads, are an obvious sign for the SRS that Mrs Plavsic, as an executor of the will of her so-called Western consultants, is implementing a policy of the division of RS into two parts", specified Maricic.

BIJELJINA - In the organisation of the Bijeljina Municipal Board of SDS, a rally will be held at the Karadjordjevic Square in Bijeljina this evening at 18:00 hrs. As was announced, prominent personalities from the SDS political life will participate at the rally.
