NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

SARAJEVO - The President in Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H) Presidency from Republika Srpska (RS) Momcilo Krajisnik opposes to extending of the High Representative Carlos Westendorp mandate because it is against Dayton Agreement. Commenting the possibility that Westendorp, if controversial questions would not be solved until Conference in Bonn at December 9th and 10th, will bring solutions which will be obligating, Krajisnik said: "I believe that something like that is predicted, but it would be harmful to not try to do everything to achieve solutions of controversial questions before the Conference in Bonn".

SARAJEVO - The President in the B&H Presidency from RS Momcilo Krajisnik congratulated to members of the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) and to it Minister Slavko Paleksic on the occasion of the Saint Patron's Day of Holy Archangel Michael and all Bodiless Powers, with all best wishes. "The members of the MUP are deeply aware of the present moment and they are again first in defense of RS and it people".

SARAJEVO - The President of RS National Assembly Dragan Kalinic congratulated the Saint Patron's Day of Holy Archangel Michael and all Bodilees Powers to members of MUP RS and to it Minister Slavko Paleksic with best wishes in further work.

BANJALUKA - The President of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) Presidency Aleksa Buha stated to SRNA that SDS is not guilty for bad events which had happen in 1997. "At elections which are without manipulations SDS will repeat his last year results" - expects Buha. He added that, that would be "fair toward representatives of National Assembly which mandate is interrupted by force".

SARAJEVO - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H) adopted the Proposition of a bill about Council of Ministers while in the Proposition of the law about passports one article for which Serbian side doubts that has been changed after the November 13 session, stayed to check. "We asked confirmation for that article - if is changed we will not accept this law and if is not we will" - explained the Co-chair of Council of Ministers Boro Bosic and added that Law about citizenship is not adopted because the members of the Council did not agree about the text of the Law.

SARAJEVO - The Head of the SDS Main Office Vlado Vrkes notified the representatives of the OSCE regional centre in Sokolac that SDS has nothing with posters of Dr. Radovan Karadzic which appeared in RS. On mentioned posters is the sign of the Serbian National Association and a text about forthcoming parliamentary elections.

SARAJEVO - The French publicist Tieri Seshan warned the Serbian people in RS that "youngest Serbian state must remain united including Brcko which is Serbian town". "I cannot vote in your beautiful country, but if I can, I would vote for the party which during the war defended, best of all parties, Serbian people and it national interest and which will defend those same interests in peace" - emphasised the well known French publicist.

SARAJEVO - The great French publicist Frederick Dutour said that Serbian people at forthcoming parliamentary elections can prove that "occupiers which present them self as international community can be throw out with ballots, instead with bullets". Before one day Dutour had received the RS citizenship and the main reason of his visit to Pale is expressing of friendly feelings toward the Serbian people. He considers that these parliamentary elections have the capital role in the Serbian national history.

SARAJEVO - The advisor of RS President Milos Prica at October 28th 1997 transferred from the foreign currency account of RS Government through Banjaluka Bank, without any authorisation, 24 342,42 US dollars - stated to SRNA the RS Minister of Finance Drago Simic. Simic reminded that according to Law only the Minister of Finance can order the transfer of financial means and added that he had ordered to Banjaluka Bank to return the money in the deadline of three days.

BRCKO - The Local Election Commission in Brcko confirmed the OSCE promise that 3 270 voters which registration for local elections was challenged, can vote for parliamentary elections in RS.

DOBOJ - At the press conference in Doboj the IPTF spokesman in Tuzla Andre Anielli announced that the Muslim administration of justice puts off the identification of perpetrators which killed 79 year old Serb Slavko Subotic which came in this town to visit his abandoned home.

BELGRADE - The President of Federal Republic Yugoslavia Slobodan Milosevic talked in Belgrade with the Head of OSCE Mission in B&H Robert Frowick. After the meeting they refused to issue any official statement.

CLEVELAND - The Muslim officials - Haris Silajdzic, Hasan Muratovic and Mirsad Kurtovic are involved in criminal and corruption. They embezzled millions of dollars indented for B&H reconstruction - writes "Los Angeles Times" quoting the copy of the Report of European Commission. According to "L.A. Times" the part of embezzled means was used for financing of forbidden organisations, among them the Muslim spy Agency for Investigating and Documentation which enjoys support of Iran.
