BANJA LUKA - The president of the Serbian People's Union /SNS/ Ostoja Kremenovic assessed in Banja Luka that 1998 will be historical year for RS. "In the next year will be constituted the new National Assembly and Government of RS. In this way will be joined all institutions from Eastern and Western parts of RS which is the way for brighter future of our country", stressed Knezevic. On the occasion of the great Serbian Orthodox festivity Christmas, January 7th, he called upon "all to sit to the table, forgive each other, and agree about the better future of RS and its people".

BANJA LUKA - The president of Socialistic Party of RS /SP RS/ Zivko Radisic stated at the press conference in Banja Luka that he hopes that in next year will be successfully solved issue of Brcko, constituted new Parliament of RS and all legislative and executive organs of authority, and finally that RS will come out of economic crisis. The first man of socialists called upon the parties and individuals to make additional efforts and show patriotism, wisdom and responsibility, and to come out of narrow party and particular interests in order to constitute the responsible authorities as soon as possible in order to unify Republic and work in the interest of people.

BRCKO - The IPTF spokeswoman in Brcko Katty Laden confirmed that the members of the new multi-ethnical police became operative in the part of the municipality under the control of supervisor Robert Farrand. Police patrols in uniforms of Ministry of Internal Affairs of RS escorted by members of IPTF will secure public order and peace in the whole region of municipality Brcko in RS.

SARAJEVO - The ministry of Religion of RS congratulated to all Orthodox believers the coming Christmas holidays by the traditional message Peace of God - Christ was born. "Asking the innocently born and sacrificed Christ that in the happy night of His birth give us all his bless and that the Christmas will make us happy by the insight that we Serbs were given the Orthodox live water", is said in the congratulation.

DOBOJ - The representatives of RS Army from the military camp in Doboj sent the congratulation to citizens of this heroic town, on the occasion of January festivities.

AMSTERDAM - The historical role of unifying Serbian regions the president of FR Yugoslavia /FRY/ SLobodan Milosevic started in 1989 on Kosovo, and finished it this year in the Tito's villa on Dedinje, but almost without Serbian spiritual and live space. Playing that role in past years, Milosevic is finishing without Knin Krajina, Eastern Slavonia and RS, and without any chance to solve issues of Montenegro and Kosovo without interference of U.S.A. and Germany into political decisions of Belgrade.
