After the meeting with the special American envoy for Balkan Robert Gelbard she explained that Milosevic supported her proposal of the mandatory during yesterday's meeting with the RS leadership. Plavsic emphasised that she had accepted Ivanic's concept according to which the future government should be consisted of two parts - experts and presidents of the parties.SARAJEVO - The president in the B&H Presidency from Republika Srpska (RS) Momcilo Krajisnik stated in Pale that the Muslim side is still trying by lobbying to impose its' idea of unique design of the bill, at the same time denying the right of RS to have its own symbols and special design. After the meeting of three-members B&H Presidency, in which work special American envoy for Balkan Robert Gelbard and the High Representative of the international community for B&H Carlos Westendorp took part, Krajisnik expressed to SRNA his surprise by its course. According to Krajisnik, the meeting in the National Museum was dedicated to the questions of design of the bill and flag, and during the talks about the money rights of RS and B&H Federation to have their own symbols and special design, which is regulated by laws and on which RS gave its' concord, were avoided. SARAJEVO - The special American envoy Robert Gelbard proposed to High Civilian Representative for B&H Carlos Westendorp to "use his authorisations and impose model of joint bill, which will be temporary and will be called - kupa". After the session in the federal part of Sarajevo Gelbard severely criticised members of B&H Presidency who not even this time reached an agreement on the model of joint bill. BANJALUKA - The American envoy for Balkan Robert Gelbard began the visit to RS with the meeting with the president Biljana Plavsic in Banjaluka - is learned in the President Cabinet. After the talks with Mrs. Plavsic, Gelbard is supposed to meet the candidate for a mandatory of the new republican government Mladen Ivanic, and tomorrow he will go to Belgrade to talk with FR Yugoslavia president Slobodan Milosevic about the situation in Kosovo, Serbian province which he will visit on Friday, January 16. At the beginning of the visit to the region Gelbard first talked in Sarajevo with the three members of the B&H Presidency. SARAJEVO - The president in the B&H Presidency from RS Momcilo Krajisnik emphasised in Pale, during a visit of delegation of Serbian Radical Party (SRS), that the alliance between the Radicals and Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) is not aimed against anyone, but is for the well-being of RS and Serbian people in all Serbian countries. "Our joint stance is to preserve RS, and with that aim to chose a government of the best ministers in the following period" - emphasised Krajisnik. SARAJEVO - SRS does not have anything against the government of national unity on condition that its' composition corresponds to structure of RS National Assembly and that the basic principle of parliamentarism that the one who is authorised according to the Constitution appoints a mandatory on the base of power of some political parties is being obeyed. This is what SRS president Vojislav Seselj emphasised during his visit to Pale, where he met a part of RS leadership and representatives of SDS. "We continued inter- party agreements and consolidating of relationships of this strategical national union which is lasting from the beginning of the war in this regions" - emphasised Seselj for SRNA. SARAJEVO - The Inaugural Session of RS National Assembly, which had begun on December 27, is finished on January 12 of this year in Bijeljina by repeated election of Dragan Kalinic for its' president and Nikola Poplasen and Jovan Mitrovic for vicepresidents and Momir Malic for Secretary General of the highest legislative body in the Republika. In this way Serbian Democratic Party (SDS), Serbian Radical Party (SRS) and Serbian National Union - Biljana Plavsic (SNS) won the leading functions in the Parliament, seat of the Secretary General went to Socialistic Party of RS (SPRS), and SDS won also the function of Deputy Secretary General, to which Staka Gojkovic, previous Secretary General of the Assembly, was appointed. Like the last session, yesterday's continuation of the Inaugural Session showed in the new "pluralistic" parliament nothing would go smoothly, that without many hours of discussion, numerous breaks and agreements behind the scene it was impossible to adopt even the agenda, not to mention respecting of the conclusions which had been previously unanimously adopted - that every next session should be broadcast in live. After everything that happened yesterday in House of Youth in Bijeljina, where the Session of the National Assembly was held, it can be ascertained that RS have finally got a parliament with legitimately elected leadership, but that current divisions have not been yet overcome, which is not in any case encouraging for the future of RS and its survival, writes in the review on Assembly's Session SRNA editor Jadranka Pandurevic. HERCEG NOVI - The president of RS Government Gojko Klickovic assessed in the interview for Montenegro "Pobjeda (Victory)" and TV "Sky Sat" that the premier of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic had expressed hearty readiness and decisiveness to cooperate with RS in every respect. He emphasised Djukanovic's readiness that RS and Montenegro should together realise the project of building of the road Trebinje - Herceg Novi, 24 km long. SARAJEVO - Telephone connections of the region of Sarajevo and Romanija with other parts of RS, FR Yugoslavia and foreign countries were established about 5,30 pm. This part of RS have not had telephone contacts with other part of RS and the world for four days already. The assistant of the RS Minister for Telecommunication and Postal Service Dragan Pejanovic stated for SRNA that SFOR had not permitted to technicians of "RS Telecommunications" to remove a damage on the transmitter on Trebevic, and according to him, this problem was caused by change in the command composition of SFOR Italian Brigade, and by the fact that the new commander" is not familiar with the situation in the field". /end/Copyright © Srpska Novinska Agencija - SRNA Republika SrpskaFrom the Serbian Unity Congress Server at http://www.suc.orgSrpska Republica News Agency (SRNA) Directory - Previous Article - Next Article |
