NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BANJA LUKA - The prime minister of Republika Srpska /RS/ Milorad Dodik informed in Banja Luka the president of Republic Biljana Plavsic with the activities of Government and conclusions and tasks which it has brought at the former two meetings. As the priority task of RS Government, Dodik cited activities in connection with Arbitrage procedure about disputable inter- entity line in the region of Brcko and announced that next session of the higher state executive organ will be held in that city.

BANJA LUKA - The Socialistic Party /SP/ RS supported in Banja Luka the agreement of delegate clubs in Bijeljina that the third session of the National Assembly /NA/ would be held on January 31 in Teslic. "SPRS accepts the proposal that the third assembly session would be held on January 31, by which the political misunderstandings about the previous, Second, session of National Assembly, were removed" - is stressed in the announcement of this party.

BANJALUKA - SPRS has asked for in Banjaluka that without delay must be performed transfer of duties between former and current Government and established unique Constitutional-law system, determined by the RS Constitution. In the public announcement issued after the constitutive meeting of the SPRS leadership with ministers and delegates of this party, it is emphasised that overcoming of divisions inside the police, law system, information system and other important state institutions necessary.

PRISTINA - The Expert Group in the Proposal of democratic solution of Kosovo-Metohija problem which it offered to Allserbian Parliament in Pristinia, emphasised that as the best solution is imposing an organising of Serbia as modern regionalized state, where Kosovo and Metohija would be organised as special regions.

BIJELJINA - The widened staff meeting of the Internal Ministry /MUP/ attended by the minister in the former convocation of Government of Republika Srpska /RS/ Slavko Paleksic and his deputy Momcilo Mandic, supported in Bijeljina the concept of unifying this ministry as the condition of preserving unity of Republic. "The staff will support every person who will work in accordance with option of keeping unitary Ministry, strengthening professionalism and keeping the achievements of the defence war of Serbian people in the spirit of Dayton agreement", is said in the announcement of the staff forwarded to SRNA.

PRISTINA - At the meeting of the Second All-Serbian assembly in Pristina was sent a series of critics and objections to the governing regime in Serbia because, as said, it did not do anything for solving aggregated problems in Kosmet. From the Serbian authorities was required to solve the issue of Albanian terrorism in this part of Serbia by energetic and urgent action.

PRISTINA - His Holy Highness Serbian patriarch Mr. Pavle blessed the work of the Second All-Serbian church-peoples assembly in Pristina and sent a telegram of support to the participants.

PRISTINA - The president of the Serbian Democratic Party of Serbia Dragoljub Kojcic assessed in Pristina that the political crisis which is stirring RS, Montenegro /CG/ and Kosovo and Metohija is the consequence of coordinated action of foreign Serbian enemies and local traitors. Stressing that the "Serbian people in this moment is being attacked on several points essential for its survival", Kojcic warned in the statement given for SRNA that "Kosovo and Metohija were not the Albanian national minority's issue but the fundamental segment of Serbian national issue".

BELGRADE - Socialistic Party of Serbia for Kosovo and Metohija and serbian Radical Party most sharply condemned the murder of Serb from Zvecani Desimir Vasic, assessing it as the "atrocious crime".

PRISTINA - Already seven years Serbian authorities is not able or does not want to stop the Albanian authorities in Kosovo - said the member of the Presidency of Serbian Resistance Movement Dusan Ristic at the Second All- Serbian national assembly in Pristina. Assessing that in Kosmet Serbia is governing Serbia, but that para-state "self-styled republic of Kosovo" is acting too, Ristic highlighted that around 60 kms2 of territory already seven months is occupied by Albanian separatists.
