BANJA LUKA - The vice-president of RS and dean at the Banja Luka University Dragoljub Mirjanic and premier Milorad Dodik talked in Banja Luka with Ambassador of Slovenia to Sarajevo Drago Mirosic and delegation of Slovenian economists about mutual economic and university cooperation of two states. At the meeting, they tried to find modalities of partner relations between RS and Slovenia which, according to its representatives, is interested for "this market and cooperation with economists".

BANJA LUKA - The president of RS Government Milorad Dodik denied the writing of Belgrade's daily "Svedok" /witness/ that the defence minister general Manojlo Milovanovic stated "that he will by all means defend and prevent arresting of general Ratko Mladic".

SERBIAN SARAJEVO - The representatives of the city Serbian Sarajevo and 13 municipalities of Sarajevo-Romanija region and old-Herzegovina region expressed the unique stance at the meeting in Serbian Sarajevo that they do not accept the way of election the RS Government, because "it does not reflect the results of parliamentary elections".

SARAJEVO - The Council of Ministers of B&H adopted in Sarajevo the Memorandum on understanding about the rules of procedure and instructions for registration and registering plates of vehicles in B&H and Proposal of the permanent Law on custom tariffs and tariffs. The co-presiding of Council of Ministers Boro Bosic explained after the meeting that Memorandum about traffic plates previously accepted Governments of RS and Federation B&H, and that the Proposal of permanent Law on custom tariffs and tariffs in the form of Motion will be sent to the Parliamentary assembly of B&H for quick adoption.

SARAJEVO - Although it was announced that the members of the Presidency of B&H in Lukavica in Serbian Sarajevo will receive the premier of Kingdom of Denmark Poul Rasmunssen, this meeting was not held because Moslem side rejected to come. Instead in Lukavica, presiding and member of Presidency of B&H Alija Izetbegovic and Kresimir Zubak received in separate visits the Danish premier in Sarajevo.

SARAJEVO - The municipal board /OO/ of SDS /Serbian Democratic Party/ Teslic most energetically rejects "the explanation" according to which this city do not meet the security reasons for holding the session of National Assembly /NA/ RS and requires "urgently the state organs to give public announcement in order to get proper information". "We could not suspect that the president of RS Biljana Plavsic will oppose to the decision of president of Serbian Parliament Dragan Kalinic, who, in agreement with majority of delegate clubs, already announced that the Third session of parliament will be held in Teslic on January 31", is stated in the announcement of OO SDS Teslic.

TESLIC - Executive Board of municipal assembly /IO SO/ of Teslic sharply protests because "untrue assertions" that because of security reasons the Third session of Na RS can not be held in Banja Vrucica in Teslic and requires that the "author" of such claims denies these, as said, unfounded statements. "To IO SO Teslic is unknown any reason of security because of which the assembly session could not be held in this city", is stated in the announcement from the Third session of IO SO Teslic.

BANJA LUKA - The syndicate union of RS do not support the replacements of directors of enterprises, if they are motivated by their party affiliation - stated at the press conference in Banja Luka the president of Syndicate organisation Cedo Volas. "We support the cadre policy if incapable directors, who did not provide the job and salaries for workers, sacks, but we can not back the dismissal of those who proved to be successful economists and who, even, thanks to the work results, gave the thirteenth salary" - said Volas.

BANJA LUKA - The Presidency of Syndicate Union of RS accepted at the session in Laktasi the protocol on cooperation with the Syndicate Union of B&H, which advocates the interest of workers from FB&H.

BELGRADE - The conference about return of minorities to Sarajevo, announced at Bonn conference, will be held on February 3 in Sarajevo, stated the spokesman of the Belgrade Office of UNHCR Mons Niberg.

BELGRADE - The president of Democratic Party of Serbia Vojislav Kostunica assessed in Belgrade that the "situation in RS by election of president of Government is stabilised at the detriment of independence of RS".

PRISTINA - On the occasion of recent murder of the delegate of municipal assembly Decane Desimir Vasic and more and more opened and aggressive Albanian terrorism at the main square in Zvecani, was held the protest rally of Serbs, attended by several thousand of citizens of Zvecani, Kosovska Mitrovica and other places of Kosovo and Metohija.
