NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

SARAJEVO - President in the B&H Presidency from Republika Srpska (RS) Momcilo Krajisnik said in Pale that a Declaration of the Administrative Committee of the Council for the Peace Implementation in B&H, adopted on June 9th, represented extension of the Dayton Peace Accord revision and policy of transferring of jurisdictions from RS to B&H. "We support improvement of the Dayton Peace Accord but we do not support imposing of solutions because that leads nowhere, but only complicate the situation even more", said Krajisnik ,adding that decisions from the Summit in Luxembourg violate the balance between RS and FB&H jurisdictions. He confirmed that the session was convoked quickly and only in Luxembourg participants from RS and FB&H got a Proposition of the Declaration, which has been , with minor changes, adopted."Document has been adopted by the Administrative Committee and methods from Sinatra and Bonn are in some way applied in Luxembourg, because at this meeting we were being given solutions and asked for consent", said Krajisnik.

BIJELJINA - Members of the RS National Assembly Commission for control of work of the Internal Affairs and Defence Ministries rejected Bills on Intelligence service and internal affairs. "Propositions of the RS Government, which are to be discussed at the 6th Assembly's session have not been accepted by the majority of the Commission", said President of the Commission Mirko Blagojevic. "Against the Bill were members of the Commission from the Serbian Radical Party and members of the Serbian Radical Party were abstained from voting".

SRPSKO GORAZDE - The RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik will visit tomorrow Srpsko Gorazde. Dodik with associates will attend commissioning of Cold storage plant which production plants were being completely reconstructed. Before that delegation of the RS Government will pay an official visit to Rogatica.

BANJALUKA - The RS Minister of Information Rajko Vasic stated for SRNA that the TVB&H issued again the incorrect information on so called public radio and television corporation for citizens of all B&H. "Nobody knows exactly what TVB&H represents, keeping in mind that it does not represents TVFB&H and especially not the B&H television in a sense of B&H that has been created by the Dayton Peace Accord", said Vasic. "We demand for Dayton Peace Accord to be fulfilled and to have equal treatment toward both companies - Serb Radio Television (SRT) and television in Federation as well as before the international community and its associations", said Vasic.

SRPSKO GORAZDE - Chief of staff of the RS Army (VRS) lieutenant general Momir Talic said in Srpsko Gorazde that the most important task was to endure on a unique RS and VRS. "Only united no one can harm us", said Talic in Srpsko Gorazde. The VRS delegation - chief of staff Momir Talic, brigadier generals Dragisa Masal and Radislav Krstic and colonels Radmilo Zeljaja and Rajko Kusic - informed about the VRS reorganisation.

SARAJEVO - Governor of the B&H Central Bank Peter Nicholl stated that date of putting into circulation of the KM has been postponed for seven days because of delay in transport of new bills from printing firms in France. The new bill should have been put into circulation on June 15 but because of mentioned problems, on June 22.

BIJELJINA - The RS Democratic Party (DS) joined the coalition of the Serb People's Union (SNS), RS Socialist Party (SPRS) and Party of Independent Socialdemocrats , it has been confirmed from the seat of this Party in Bijeljina. The DS supports joint coalition candidates for RS President and vice-president, member of the B&H Presidency from RS and joint candidates for representatives in the House of Representatives of the B&H Parliamentary Assembly.

SRBAC - According to the Local Election Commission information in Srbac out of 12 458 citizens enlisted in voters lists voters cards took 7,670 or 62% of voters from this Municipality. The LEC is discontent with that kind of respond and calls on all parties to be included in education of potential voters because it is in their interest for more voters to be registered for the forthcoming elections.

BANJALUKA - The Republika Srpska (RS) Government will not allow any transfer of authorizations and jurisdictions from entities to the B&H common institutions, stated the RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik at the press-conference in Banjaluka. The RS Prime Minister said that "that includes conclusions made by the Managing Board of the B&H Council for Peace Implementation on the Conference in Luxembourg, if they are to be in opposite to the Dayton Peace Accord. "We think that stances on privatisation are unacceptable because in its realisation the B&H common institutions can not play any role, said Dodik. "That process is a matter of entities and their legislature", said Dodik. No institutional control is not possible for RS from the level of the B&H common institutions and announced that in that sense a letter would be forwarded to the International Community High Representative Carlos Westendorp.

BANJALUKA - The B&H Central Bank President Peter Nicholl will hold a press- conference in the International Press-Centre in Banjaluka at 5:00p.m. - it has been announced for SRNA from the Central Bank. The press-conference is scheduled on the occasion of opening of the B&H Central Bank office in Banjaluka.

DOBOJ - The RS railroad employees will not go on strike tomorrow, stated the Informative service of the RS Railroad. This is a conclusion from today's negotiations of the RS Minister of Traffic and Communications Marko Pavic, and the strike board, and has been concluded in the RS Ministry of Traffic in Banjaluka.

PALE - Italian Ambassador to B&H Michelle Valences visited a Centre for young in Pale, donated by Italian humanitarian organisation "Association of children's friends". The centre will organise free Italian and English courses. The Association will get funds from the EU. Centre in Pale, is opened in October in 1997, in accordance with representatives of the Municipality and director of the Student Centre Slobodan Savic.
