NEW YORK - In the yesterday published report of the deputy UN Secretary General for the disarmament Mr. Jayantha Dhanapala is stated that the 200, 000 peaces of weapons, which was in the spring 1997 stolen from the population in Albania, "smuggled into the neighbouring countries" - reports AFP. Dhanapala claims that the official figures "suggest that around 650, 000 peaces of weapons was stolen and 20,000 tones of explosive and million and half of round and artillery shells". According to him, tens of thousands of peaces of weapons was taken away from Albania was not intended only for Albania, it was sent to BRJM and some other countries, which he did not mentioned.

NEVESINJE - The members of the Spanish brigade of SFOR have delivered to the scouts of the primary school "Risto Prorokovic" in Nevesinje the complete equipment for Scout section.

SARAJEVO - The president of Republic of Italy Oscar Luigi Scalfaro, heading the top delegation of his country, has met in sarajevo with the members of Presidency of B&H and while addressing the journalists he expressed his contentment with overall progress since his previous visit to Sarajevo two years ago. "We have talked about the situation in B&H and return of refugees to whom, besides the repaired houses, must be provided jobs and security of living in the original surroundings" - stated Scalfaro after the meeting. Expressing the contentment with the visit of the Italian president, the president in Presidency of B&H from RS Momcilo Krajisnik stressed that "it brings equal joy to Serbs and Bosniaks and Croats, because Italy was one of most unbiased countries during the past war".

TREBINJE - The president of RS Government Milorad Dodik stressed in Trebinje that opening the independent local "Radio Pegaz" is the proof that RS exist in the integral sense and that the democratic processes comprise all of its areas. "There are no any taboo themes in RS, there are no more untouchables and all are submitted to the judgment of the publicity no matter what post they occupy, how they are elected and how long they have planned to remain there" - said Dodik and added that all this can contribute to the new quality which is called the media pluralism. Radio Pegaz was opened by the U.S.A. Ambassador to B&H Richard Causlarich stressing that "the essence of independent media is to support peace and independent process".

NIKSIC - The presidents of governments of RS and Montenegro /CG/ Milorad DOdik and Filip Vujanovic are talking in Niksic about the cooperation on realisation of mutually important projects. SRNA learns that they'll mostly pay attention to the continuation of building the road Trebinje Herceg Novi ad cooperation between power utilities of RS and Montenegro.

SREBRENICA - The minister for refugees and displaced persons of RS Miladin Dragicevic stressed in Srebrenica that the "RS Government and authorities of Federation B&H /FB&H/ have reached an agreement about exchanging the occupancy rights and other property". "The municipalities are obliged immediately to allocate the locations to refugees who want to build houses in the new places of residence, and the material for building the houses provides the Government of RS" - explained minister Dragicevic in an interview for Srebrenica Radio-TV.

SARAJEVO - The delegates of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentray Assembly of B&H have adopted in the continuation of the 10th session in Serbian Sarajevo the Law on bases of privatisation of enterprises and banks in B&H.

BRCKO - From the mass grave in the region of Donja Skakava near Brcko, in FB&H, yesterday were exhumed the post mortem remains of another four Serbs, killed in September 1992 - confirmed for SRNA the representative of the families of killed veterans from Brcko Boro Kerezovic. According to him, it is supposed that in question are Marko and Cvijeta Pejic, and Mico Vujic and Ilija Pejic.

BIJELJINA - The president of the Municipal Board of the Serbian Democratic PArty /SDS/ of Bijeljina Cvijetin Nikic has confirmed at the press conference that the delegates of this party will participate in the work of the municipal parliament and that there is no room for politicising that problem. According to Nikic, SDS insists on continuation of recently interrupted session of the municipal assembly of Bijeljina, announcing that the delegates of this party will take quality participation in its work, and they will help also in preparation of the session.

BANJA LUKA - The president of the Serbian People's Union /SNS/ Ostoja Knezevic stated in Banja Luka that SNS is national and democratic party which will fight for survival of RS by appropriate means and its Dayton position. Talking about the Coalition "Sloga", Knezevic accentuated at the press conference that in question is "the coalition of centre", which will at the elections for president and vice-president of RS, member of Presidency of B&H from RS and House of Representatives of B&H will participate in the joint forces.

SARAJEVO - The High international Representative for B&H has nominated the chief of the Section for media and public relations Simon Haselock for his deputy for media issues - announced the Office of the High Representative /OHR/. Explaining the Haselock's nomination, Westendorp has stressed that it is result of his "achievements and common sense, especially on the level of restructuring media which had greatly contributed to peace and democracy in B&H".

SARAJEVO - The newly appointed deputy High Representative for media issues in B&H Simon Haselock stated that new function will nothing change in his work, except that he has got greater competence and responsibilities on the plan of media reform and respecting professional standards in journalism.

BRCKO - The international commission for return into Brcko, presided by the supervisor Robert Farrand, has approved another 152 requests for return of Croatian families into the settlements Ulice, Krepsic, Gorice, Gornji Vuksic and Dubrave Donje.

BANJA LUKA - UNHCR is preparing the visit of the greater group of Serbs into the towns Vojnic and Vrgin Most in Croatia and has undertaken all necessary measures in order to make this visit safe - announced at the regular press conference in Banja Luka the spokesman of UNHCR for Western B&H Vendy Rapaport not stating precisely the date of the visit.

PRISTINA - In the attack of the Albanian terrorists at the police in the vicinity of th place Streoc near Decani last night and early morning were wounded the policemen Branko Vasiljevic, Vladimir Bujanac and Dejan Radenkovic - learns SRNA from the representatives of the local authorities in Decani.

SKOPJE - In the world's factors started to dominate the common sense about the conflict in Kosmet and now is clear that its independence is out of question, and the dream of Albanians about creating great Albanian will remain unfulfilled - stated at the press conference the leader of the Democratic Party of Macedonia Tomislav Stojanovski. If eventually would be created the independent state of Kosovo, it would be negatively reflected on all the countries in the region, particularly on FYRM and in that case would be jeopardised the Slavic population in this region - warned Stojanovski.

BRUSSELS - The self-styled "Liberation Army of Kosovo" /KLA/ is blackmailing also Albanian, and not only Serbian population, pluralistic citizen's democracy the greatest number of its commanders rejects and call it a superfluous and unnecessary western luxury - stated for SRNA after returning from Kosmet Franklin Den Frize, the official of the Catholic organisation "Pax Christy". Mr. Frize was three times on Kosmet and he thinks that there the war flame of wider size s practically unavoidable. According to him, the commanders of KLA are stating that their strategy is to draw in Albania as soon as possible and as much as possible into the conflict, in order to provoke the war between FRY and Albania, and perhaps FYRM.

DOBOJ - The engineering units of Nordic-Polish brigade of SFOR have started the action of inspection and examination of bridges on the main and regional roads in the zone of responsibility of that brigade of SFOR.

SARAJEVO - The Minister of Civil Affairs and Communications in the B&H Council of Ministers stated that with adoption of the Law on foundations of the privatisation of the B&H enterprises and banks, "revision of the Dayton Peace Accord and violation of the B&H Constitution" took place at the session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly in Srpsko Sarajevo. "With the Article 3, Point 1, of the B&H Constitution, jurisdictions of the B&H were established. The B&H was not given the jurisdiction over the privatisation issue of the enterprises and banks with the mentioned article. This is also pointed out by stances from the Political Declaration of the Ministerial meeting of the Management Board of the Peace Implementation Council in Syntra which demand from entities to adopt plans for privatisation", is said in the announcement from the Albijanic's Cabinet.

DOBOJ - The chief of the RS Railway revenue service (ZRS), Rajko Stolica, stated that SFOR owes this enterprises 412.054 DM. According to the ZRS the total amount of services given to international peace keeping forces by June 20th comes to 567.946 DM.

BANJALUKA - Department of the Croatia Consular Mission from the Federal part of Sarajevo started to operate in Banjaluka. On Tuesdays and Thursdays it will receive 40 clients a day, Serbian Radio Television reports. The applications are related mostly to the citizenship, property, passports and pensions issues.

SOFIA - The record keeping of the observes who will, as representatives of the OSCE, supervise the forthcoming elections from September 4th to 17th in RS and FB&H is concluded in Bulgaria. The trip to B&H will be paid for the observers from Bulgaria and the OSCE will provide them daily allowances amounting to US$ 90.

PRISTINA - The district prosecutor's office in Pec submitted to the district court in the city demand for an investigation against Zefa, 25, Pjetar, 29, Hilj, 44, and Ndrec, 46, Kcir from the village of Zub in the Djakovica Municipality, suspected of a crime of terrorism. As members of a sabotage-terroristic group, they made an attempt on July 10th to take over part of arms which was brought by Zep Kcir from Albania.

PRISTINA - In the last three months in surgical and orthopaedic division of the Pristina hospital more than 40 members of the Serbia Internal Affairs Ministry, FRY Army, and civilians injured during attacks of ethnic Albanian terrorists, were under treatment. Most of the injuries were spinal column and head injuries, said MD Rade Grbic.

VUKOVAR - Chief of the OSCE Coordination Centre in Vukovar, Pier Peters, urged on all refugees to submit requests for reconstruction of their houses to Croatian Ministry of Reconstruction and Development by July 31st at latest. Referring to two-way return of refugees he said at a press- conference in Vukovar that this process had many difficulties, such as the economic situation in Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and Zapadni Srem concerning return of Croats, and destroyed and occupied Serb houses in the region of the former Republic of Srpska Krajina.
