ILIDZA - The Serbian flag was taken off the Ilidza municipal building, and given to activists of the Serbian Democratic Initi ative (SDI). The Ilidza mayor, Nedjeljko Prstojevic, stated while addressing to journalists, that this tragic leaving he does not consider to be a final one because Ilidza has been the Serbian land since the seventh century and has always been populated mostly by the Serbs.

BANJALUKA - The prime minister of the Republic of Srpska (RS), Rajko Kasagic, talked with a delegation of the Internation al Police Task Forces (IPTF) on unfulfilled obligations of POW release. Kasagic said that this is one of the key problems in the implementation of the Dayton agreement, stressing that the pris oners of war should had been liberated by January 19. The head of the IPTF delegation, Robert Gelbard, stated that in spite of everything the cooperation between the RS and IFOR and IPTF is very good.

BANJALUKA - The Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) from Virgin most requested this district office to confirm already prepared decision on changing of the name of Virginmost into Gvozd, by which the new residents want to forever eliminate all tracks of the Serbs in the area, says "Vecernji List".

BANJALUKA - The Economies of the RS and Yugoslavia are complementary in all fields, and an unitary economic and politi cal area must be created in the postsanctions period. This is one of the main conclusions from today's Banjaluka meeting of presidents of the Economic Councils of the RS and Yugoslavia, attended by managers of the leading enterprises from the Serbian lands.

KULA - Under the title "Deficiency in Bread", the local paper "Kula Column" reports on a visit of the Serbian Comissariat for Refuges to Kula municipality, and warns at very difficult situation of the refugees in Yugoslavia. The problems, in the Kula municipality precisely, lie with an inadequate cost of food for refugees collectively accommodated.

NOVI SAD - The Regional Board of the Democratic Party (DS) for Vojvodina, asked the Serbian government to establish a minis try for colonisation. In a communique, the DS says that "this way Serbia would clear out that it sees in refugees its future citi zens".

BIJELJINA - Following a towday visit to Banjaluka, a dele- gation of Yugoslav economists, led by the president of the Yugo slav Economic Council, Miloje Milojevic, will visit Bijeljina.
