SARAJEVO - The president of the National Assembly of Repub lika Srpska (RS) Momcilo Krajisnik, said that the France Press Agency news item that RS leaders are ready to leave abandon positions upon the demand of Belgrade is not true. The president of the RS Assembly stated that there is the possibility of a "deliberate or accidental error" on the part of France Press in interpreting his statement given the Belgrade "Beta" news agency concerning the position of RS leaders regarding the upcoming elections. "The most important thing for the leadership is how to maintain the republic, and it will always be ready to concede to those entrusted by the people and to those who will manage to preserve this state", explained Krajisnik.

SARAJEVO - Governed by the decision of the Hague Tribunal, Republika Srpska (RS) today released four Croats charged with war crimes committed against the Serbs. The president of the RS Commission for POW Exchange, Dragan Bulajic, stated for SRNA that the released Croats are: Milic Goran, Krizelj Dubravko, Leko Mate and Toto Drago.

SARAJEVO - The RS minsiter for refugees and displaced per sons, Ljubisa Vladusic, announced that the refugees in RS have refugee identification in addition to the normal ID card, are holders of all rights described in the Law on refugees.

GRADISKA - The Hungarian IFOR engineering unit finished its repair work to the bridge on the Sava river which links Gradiska in RS with Stara Gradiska in Croatia. The repairs to the bridge took more than two months due to the high water level of the Sava river.
