NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BANJALUKA - Deputy minister for refugees and displaced persons of Republika Srpska (RS), Bogdan Latinovic, met with the UN special rapporteur Elizabeth Rehn, and referred to a fact that even 50 percent of 420,000 refugees in RS were not provided with a proper accommodation yet, adding that there are 70 collective centres in RS accommodating 9,000 people.

BANJALUKA - The construction of residential buildings in Ostre Luke for 10, 000 refugees from Sanski Most was agreed upon by representatives of the Serb Municipality of Sanski Most.

PRISTINA - In the presence of His Holiness, Patriarch of the Serbs, Pavle, the 650 anniversary of creation of Dusan's Empire and establishment of the Pec Patriarchy and creation of Dusan's Legal Code, was celebrated. The president of the RS National Assembly, Dragan Kalinic, addressed to those present at the ceremony, recalling of the striving of the Serbian people for the creation of a national state in the former B-H and of numerous humiliations to which it has been subjected to in the past several years, expressing his hope that the Kossovo would remain the Serbian despite huge temptations to come in the future.

MOSTAR - The special envoy of the EU Mission in Mostar, Martin Garod, warned the B-H Federation president, Kresimir Zubak, that the throwing out EU personnel from the former court building, chosen for the united administration centre, harms the improvement of the united administration over the city of Mostar.

BEOGRAD - The Serbian Radical Party (SRS) announced its demand for an urgent summoning of the Belgrade City Assmelby to try to resolve a new political crisis and tension, and prevent further confrontations and destabilisation of the country, asking for a live TV coverage of the session in order "to shed light to all disputable electoral results and contribute the elimination of political tensions evident on streets of Serbia's cities".

BEOGRAD - The former Yugoslav president, Dobrica Cosic, called Serbia's president Slobodan Milosevic to respect the results of the local elections.

BEOGRAD - On the fourth day of demonstrations organised by the Coalition "Together" 50.000 to 60.000 demonstrators gathered in Belgrade protesting the fabrication of results of the municipal elections.
