BANJALUKA - The president of Republika Srpska (RS) Biljana Plavsic, said to deputies of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) in Banjaluka that their activity should promote Serbdom and democracy because one can not be furthered without another. At SDS's solemn session, president Plavsic underlined the importance of both national option and democratic principles. She added that RS must be a national and democratic state, because the people were promised to live in a state where law rules in stead of a political party.

SARAJEVO - The president in Dayton B-H Presidency, Momcilo Krajisnik wished marry Christmas to all Serbs in RS and abroad and all Orthodox peoples, and wished happy the Republic Day St. Sefan to all citizens of RS. He wished marry Christmas to all Serbs in the country and in Diaspora, clergy, solders, police, students, pensioners, workers and all others, saying that "The great day of Christ's birth - Christmas - the Serb people in RS celebrates this year in peace and in its own state".

BANJALUKA - The RS vice-president Dragoljub Mirjanic, warned, during his meeting with Gino Coil State Department's official with SFOR, that Brcko is a part of RS and that it would be defended by all means, if the other side attempts to break such an order. Other than the arbitration over Brcko area, they discussed POW release and tracing the missing persons, and Cole was notified of irresponsibility of the international community regarding this issue.

SARAJEVO - The president of the RS National Assmelby, Dragan Kalinic, sent Christmas greetings to His Holiness Patriarch of the Serbs, Pavle.

SARAJEVO - The acting president of the SDS, Aleksa Buha, sent greetings of Christmas to all Orthodox believers. He said that the SDS for Serbian Lands (SDS SZ) has a moral right and national duty to say that, if they do not intend to continue splitting off the Serbian national corps, then the refusal of the current authorities in Serbia to recognise what must be recognised under laws of the civilisation we belong to, is not understandable. Whatever they might think of the Coalition 'Together', in political terms, the voice of people is the voice of God."

BEOGRAD - His Holiness Patriarch of the Serbs, Pavle, will serve wake on Christmas Eve, in the Church of Resurrection, in Belgrade, with beginning at 17:00, while Christmas three will be set on fire at 21:00.

BEOGRAD - The president of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) Vojislav Seselj, sent Christmas greetings to His Holiness Patriarch the Serbs, Pavle, in which he expressed his hope that Serbia will set on the way of democracy and law, economic prosperity and social justice.

BRCKO - The central celebration of the Republic Day, St. Stefan, will be held on January 9th in Brcko.
