BEOGRAD - His Holiness, Patriarch of the Serbs, Pavle, and all archpriests
of the Serbian Orthodox Church sent the Easter message to believers.
SRPSKO GORAZDE - Srpsko Gorazde and Srbinje are the corner stone of the
defence on the Drina, and as long as they exist there no Islamic
foundametalism expansion would be possible, stated the vice-premier of the
RS Government, Velibor Ostojic in an interview for the Serb Radio Gorazde.
PODGORICA - The Montenegrin prime minster, Milo Djukanovic, talked in
Podgorica with the co-president of the B-H Concil of Ministers, Boro Bosic,
on the current political situation and economic processes.
SARAJEVO - The high representative of the international community for civil
affairs, Carl Bildt, refused any possibility that the Serbs and Croats
change their borders without Muslim consent. Bildt's spokesman, Colum
Murphy, confirmed that "under the Dayton agreement the lines of separation
cannot be changed without an agreement of all three parties".
BANJALUKA - The charge d'affarires of the US Embassy in Sarajevo, Robert
Bicroft, stated in Banjaluka that "US administration made contacts with the
RS and Federal political and economic leadership according to the principle
'a single state, two entities and three peoples'", and said that "Dayton
gave chance to all".
TUZLA - The authorities of the Tuzla Canton declared Bishop Vasilije
persona non grata. Bishop Vasilije should visit Tuzla on Sunday, but Muslim
authorities said in a letter sent to Carl Bildt and other international
representatives that they waive any responsibility for Bishop's security in
case he visits Tuzla on Sunday".
