NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

DERVENTA - The delay of the decision on elections is one in the series of games pertaining Brcko and in general the Dayton Agreement - stated the president of the Government of Republika Srpska /RS/ Gojko Klickovic. "The RS Government have analysed newest statements of the world's officials and current happenings related to Brcko and concluded that there is no any reason for the elections in this city scheduled for September 13 and 14 to be delayed" - highlighted Mr. Klickovic. He underlined that Brcko is part of RS and there is no any reason for bringing new proposals and solutions regarding this, and that with new games only confusion and additional nervousness is being created.

SARAJEVO - The co-presiding of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegvinia /FB&H/ Boro Bosic assessed that the fourth postponement of the Donor's Conference for reconstruction and renewal of RS and FB&H "is a wrong move of the international community"."Such an move suits those forces who do not want any progress in peace process in B&H" - stressed Mr. Bosic and added that behind this hides the intention of the international community to bring RS in more unfavourable position. He reminded that RS has got only two per cent of the international financial aid last year.

SARAJEVO - The minister for the civilian affairs and communications in the Council of Ministers of B&H Spasoje Albijanic talked in Pale with the Egyptian state delegation on the implementation of Peace Agreement, holding the Donor's Conference and establishing firm relations between RS, FB&H and Egypt. Supporting the friendly and sincere efforts of Egypt to continue the cooperation with all nations and states originated from the former Yugoslavia, Albijanic sent a very serious objection on the Protocol of the visit of Egyptian delegation to RS and FB&H. "In the framework of the four days visit, this delegation have talked only with me, while the talks with other Serbian and Croatian officials in the joint organs of B&H is not anticipated by this protocol at all" - explained Mr. Albijanic.

BANJA LUKA - RS would go in the privatisation immediately and more aggressively then until now - is the assessment of the just finished two days Workshop on Privatisation, organised by Economic Chamber of RS in Banja Luka and held by experts of the Institute "Adam Smith" from London. The experts from England presented the categorical stance that "in this moment most important part of the job is creating the more suitable environment for free development of the private capital" and reminded that "any privatisation is more useful than inactivity."
