SARAJEVO - The RS National Assembly adopted by majority of votes Information on the arrangements made with international agencies in relation to reconstruction and rebuilding of RS. RS minister for economic relations with abroad, Branko Stjepanovic, reminded deputies that "the international community makes the implementation of the arrangements for reconstruction and rebuilding of RS conditional upon political concessions, which is the very reason why the donor's conference has been postponed four times already".

SARAJEVO - The RS National Assmelby adopted Information on implementation of Government's conclusions regarding the accommodation of families of fallen soldiers and disabled veterans of first and second categories.

SARAJEVO - The RS National Assmelby adopted by majority of votes the report on relations between RS Ministry of Internal Affairs and IPTF, and required IPTF to act consistently with the Dayton Agreement Annex 11. The head of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) for Serbian Lands Direction, Vlado Vrkes assessed the demand of the IPTF to carry out an inspection of the RS Police Brcko and Banjaluka to see capabilities of its officers as "a perfidious attack at sovereignty of the Serbian people". The deputy of the Serbian Patriotic Party, Slavko Zupljanin, regards such a demand as "serious and dramatic violation of the Dayton agreement".

SARAJEVO - About a million of voters in both RS and Federation of B-H as well as from abroad are registered for polling at the local elections, this was announced at the meeting of the Provisional Electoral Commission in Sarajevo, attended by the head of the RS Provisional Electoral Commission, Slobodan Kovac. They said total 655,492 voters were registered by May 25 in RS and the Federation.

BANJALUKA - Milorad Marceta, who was freed by the Hague Tribunal from charges for war crimes, is still held in prison in

Bihac, and it is still uncertain when Muslim authorities in Bihac will comply with demands of the international community, SFOR and IPTF and release him, says IPTF spokesman, Alaun Roberts, at a regular press conference in Banjaluka, adding that Bihac local authorities ignore demands of deputy high representative Michael Stainer, for release of detained Marceta.

BANJALUKA - The central celebration of the Fifth Anniversary of the RS Army Air Force and Antiaircraft Defence (ViVPO) started in Banjaluka, with a welcome speech held by ViVPO commander, general Milan Torbica, who said that during the war Air Force units carried out 243 combat flights and took part in defence of the Serbian people on all points and heights of RS.

SARAJEVO - At least ten laws are effective in Croatia which by the method of colonisation prevent the Serbs from return, and some of them directly compel people to become thieves, writes the "Herald Tribjun" while referring to assessment by the president of the "Return to Home" Committee, Albert Kralj. One of the mentioned laws reads: "A returnee or refugee who refuses to temporarily use a flat or house in liberated territory, will have suspended his status of a refugee".

ATHENS - The Croatian president Franjo Tudjman as a candidate for the up- coming presidential elections bets on diverting the return of Serbs to their homes, writes the Greek daily "Elephterothipia". With a remark that Tudjman registered his candidacy only a few minutes before the deadline expired and denied rumours that he is cancer patient, "Elephterothipia" underlines his conviction that he will win his rivals by an overwhelming majority and his attitude that the return of Serbs to Croatia is impossible simply because the Serbs themselves do not want to return, for they do not want to take Croat documents.

PARIS - The presidents of states and governments of NATO countries and Russian president Boris Yeltzin signed the Agreement on Security, reports DPA. Yeltzin and NATO secretary-general Javier Solana are the first to sign this document, written in Russian, French and English language. Before the signing, Yeltzin stated that Russia still contends the NATO expansion towards the East, and that "this agreement will contribute to peace and stability in Europe" .
