SARAJEVO - All of the disputable issues in regard to the work of the B&H Central Bank were agreed to at yesterday's session of the Presidency of B&H, stated the president from Republika Srpska in the Presidency of B&H, Momcilo Krajisnik in an interview for SRNA. Along with the members of the Presidency, the US special envoy for the former Yugoslavia, Robert Gelbard, the assistant US Secretary of State for finance, David Lipton, and the governor of the RS National Bank, Manojlo Coric, also attended the meeting. As Krajisnik said, they have talked for hours about the realising of the solutions previously agreed to because representatives of the Croatian and Muslim side suddenly brought the entire agreement into a question.

SARAJEVO - The US special envoy for the former Yugoslavia, Robert Gelbard, assessed that the Presidency of B&H made a significant progress in its work by the bringing closer of all the disputable issues in relation to the work of the B&H Central Bank, the Laws on customs and budget, at last evening's session held in Sarajevo. 'The functioning of the joint institutions and firm economy are necessary for the building and strengthening of B&H, while the adopting of Laws on Central Bank, Budget and Customs is essential for its development', assessed Gelbard at the Sarajevo airport. He added: 'The above laws are also necessary for the future discussions in regard to the adoption of 'a package of economic laws' and the creating of conditions for the signing of an agreement with the IMF'.

BANJALUKA - RS vice-president Dragoljub Mirjanic, talked in Banjaluka with the Ambassadors of Belgium and Portugal, Baron Andro Deveron and Anthony Korea, respectively, on the implementation of the Dayton agreement in RS and the Federation of B&H, with a special stress on the upcoming elections, the reconstruction and rebuilding of the country and the freedom of movement. 'Today, we also talked about the implementation of the Dayton agreement in regard to the freedom of movement and the possibilities for the return of the refugees and displaced persons', pointed out the vice- president after the meeting.

SARAJEVO - RS prime minister Gojko Klickovic, talked in Pale with the EU Ambassador to RS and the Federation of B&H, Donato Kiariny on the infrastructure reconstruction programmes as of a precondition for the return of refugees and displaced persons.'We agreed to that the displaced persons must return gradually, certain conditions, first of all infrastructural, have to be made and the economic capacities in which the returnees would be able to get a job restored', stated the prime minister after the meeting. Further, he said that the infrastructure will be reconstructed first in Sipovo, then Banjaluka, Sarajevo and Mostar, adding that the building of a bridge and a port in Samac have been also planned.

SARAJEVO - A session of the Council of Ministers started in the National Museum in Sarajevo today. Before the session, which is also attended by the deputy High Representative, Michael Steiner, the members of the Council of Ministers talked with members of the German Parliament. As was announced, the Laws on Customs Tariff, Council of Ministers and privatisation will be on the agenda.

DOBOJ - The case of 37 Muslims accused of murdering an eighty years old Serb from Cekrcici, Slavko Subotic, was forwarded to a Court in Visoko by the Muslim authorities in Zenica, stated the spokesman of the IPTF Office in Tuzla, Andre Anneli, without passing a comment on this move of Muslim authorities' nor on the murder alone. He also expressed his concerns about the ever frequent conflicts between the Croats and Muslims in the Usora and Zepca areas.

DOBOJ - Members of the SFOR Danish Battalion confiscated a military vehicle of the Muslim Army 379th Brigade near a bridge on the Usora between Doboj and Tesanj, announced the SFOR spokesman in Doboj, major Magnus Edwinson. Members of the SFOR Polish Battalion captured a certain number of anti-tank mines from the 111th Brigade of the Croatian Defence Council, S of Zepca, stated major Edwinson.

HAGUE - The arresting of the indicted war criminals is 'a political issue on which a consensus has yet to be reached by the countries fostering peace in the B&H', stated the High Representative, Carl Bildt, in The Hague. 'Neither we have physical, nor legal possibilities to arrest the indicted war criminals, unless we approach them unexpectedly. Speaking more precisely we have a limited mandate', stated Bildt in The Hague.

THESSALONIKI - Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic is going for the third time to run for a presidential post in Serbia, confirmed categorically the member of the Main Office of the Yugoslavian United Left (JUL) and President Slobodan Milosevic's wife, Mirjana Markovic, failing to explain how he is to overcome the current constitutional bans, at a press conference in Kalamari, Thessaloniki.
