SARAJEVO - The president in the Presidency of B&H from RS Momcilo Krajisnik talked in Pale with the new commander of SFOR general Eric Shinseki about the future cooperation of the state leadership and multi-national forces. After two hours talks Krajisnik stated that the first visit of the American general to the Pale had the courteous character, during which was expressed the readiness of the RS leadership for continuation of good relations with SFOR. "We wish to have good relations with general Shinseki, as it was the case with his predecessors", accentuated Mr. Krajisnik. He stressed that the great efforts were done in the rehabilitation after the incidents which happened after the action of SFOR in Prijedor.

BANJA LUKA - The fact that the former and present special envoy of the U.S. president for Balkans Richard Holbrooke and Robert Gelbard particularly visited RS means practically its recognition, assessed the president of the Serbian Party of Krajina and Posavina /SSKiP/ Predrag Lazarevic. While commenting the visit of the two U.S. diplomats, Lazarevic in the statement for SRNA stressed that "by this act mostly gained RS, and that now there must be lead the clever politics so the traditionally good relations would be established between Serbs and Americans".

BANJA LUKA - The visit of the U.S. diplomat Richard Holbrooke to RS as well as all talks with international community which are directed towards implementation of the Dayton Agreement, without pressures towards the Serbian party, are always welcomed - stated for SRNA the vice-president of the Club of delegates of the Serbian Radical Party /SRS/ Pantelija Damjanovic.

VIENNA - The Austrian media assesses that the Holbrooke's more days visit to the regions of the former Yugoslavia reached the limited success, and that the agreement of Serbs, Croats and Moslems about the joint diplomatic network and telephone numbers represent the relatively modest result.

KUALA LUMPUR - The co-presiding of the Council of Minister of B&H Boro Bosic and Haris Silajdzic and the minister for the foreign trade and economic relations in the Council of Ministers Hasan Muratovic arrived to Kuala Lumpur, in the three days official visit to Malaysia where they will talk with its authorities about economical cooperation. In Malaysian Economic Chamber they will talk about the five years plan, privatisation, zones of the free trade, and about the economic development of RS and Federation B&H.

BONN - The former high international representative for B&H Carl Bildt assessed that the withdrawal of the international forces from RS and FB&H in June 1998 would represent the greatest threat for the peace process. "If NATO latest until the end of the year do not agree about extending of its military presence, the political process will start to stagnate already this winter, and will collapse in the spring time", stated Bildt of the tomorrow's issue of the Berlin;s daily "Tages spiegel".

BANJA LUKA - There is almost no life segment along with which doesn't go the word democracy. SARAJEVO - The first phase of return of the Moslem families in Stolac wasn't successful because of opposition of the Croatian authorities, and instead of the agreed 34, only 16 families returned, and that was along the great engagement of UNHCR, SFOR and IPTF - report the media in the Moslem part of Sarajevo. The head of the Municipality Stolac Mehmed Dizdar, who is in the refugee in the eastern part of Mostar, warns that the second phase of the pilot-project of return id under way, in which until the end of august would be returned 57 Moslem families, although both parties suspect that this will be realised.

BELGRADE - The Serbian Movement of Renewal /SPO/ can in this moment crucially and beneficially to help to the development of the strong, democratic and rich Serbia, stated the president of SPO Vuk Draskovic at the end of the session of the Main Board of the party at which was decided that this party will go on elections. Stressing that he and his party are in the decisive opportunity to reach the hand to the fatherland and the people", Draskovic stressed that he dare not allow that this party, by not being present at the elections, the voters of SPO to elect the candidates of radical party and socialists.
