NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BONN - The new passport of Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H) will have three designs - one for Republika Srpska (RS) and two for Bosnia and Herzegovina Federation (FB&H); on the front cover of the passport which will be in effect in RS, the characters B&H - (Bosnia and Herzegovina) will be printed on Cyrillic alphabet, below those characters the inscription "Passport" (on English language) and on the bottom of the cover "Republika Srpska". The President in B&H Presidency from RS Momcilo Krajisnik confirmed that the members of Presidency agreed this solution on December 9th, but that the B&H Parliamentary Assembly will give the final word.

BONN - The President in B&H Presidency from RS Momcilo Krajisnik warned in Bonn that "imposing of the Kosovo question during the work of the conference in Bonn draws the attention off the primary aim - implementation of Dayton Agreement." "Having in mind the competence of the Peace Implementation Council, we emphasised that only questions from Dayton Agreement and conclusions from the conference in Sintra could be included in the agenda, but not the Kosovo question" - stated Krajisnik for SRNA. He assessed that the first day of the Bonn Conference of the Steering Board of the Council for implementation of peace in B&H as the attempt to make, through the small door, revision of the Dayton Agreement.

ZVORNIK - Jim Scolart from the office of the High Representative for B&H stated that Moslem delegates have to attend the work of the Zvornik Municipal Assembly /MA/, as the representatives of local police gave them the assurances that they will guarantee for them full security. After the meeting with Mirko Rebic, the president of MA Zvornik, Mr. Scolart stated for SRNA that the topic of the talks was the implementation of the electoral results at local and republican level.

BELGRADE - The Norweign and Swiss media these days are broadcasting the invitation of the illegal Liberation Army of Kosovo /LAK/ sent to the young Albanians, who live in these states, to join as volunteers in these units, writes the Belgrade's daily "Danas" /today/. As stated in the article, LAK demands form Albanian refugees to give the money donations so the material status of the organisation would be improved.

SARAJEVO - The delegates of the Croatian Democratic Community left on December 9 the session of the House of Representatives of B&H because disagreement with the initiative of the Serbian Citizens Council that for the entities - RS and Federation of B&H

- in the constitutions will be entered the article which anticipate the constitutiveness of the tree people on the whole territory of B&H.

SARAJEVO - The minister of justice of RS Branko Petric qualified the Decision about multi-ethnical judiciary of supervisor for Brcko Robert Farrand as unintelligible, because, as he explained, the function of the vice-president of the court do not exist in the judicial system of Republika Srpska. Petric stated for SRNA that Farrand neglected the Constitutional and legal regulations in accordance with which only Government and National Assembly of RS can nominate the judges.

BIJELJINA - The director of the office for privatisation and development of RS Aleksa Milojevic assessed in Bijeljina that the Order about ban on privatisation in the region of Brcko, which issued the supervisor Robert Farrand, is legally unfounded. Milojevic precisely stated that any slow- down of privatisation, so also this which makes Mr. Farrand, brings great risks for full economic destruction of RS, because the economy can not work successfully without defined proprietor.

BANJA LUKA - The delegates of the Assembly of the city Banja Luka not in the sixth continuation of the inaugural session did not choose the mayor, his deputy and president of Municipal Executive Board. For the mayor was proposed the member of the Serbian Party of Krajina and Posavina Aleksandar Iliskovic, for his deputy Mihajlo Crnadak from Serbian Patriotic Party /SPAS/, and for president of Executive Board Slavenko Stanojevic from Socialistic Party (SP) of RS.

BANJA LUKA - The president of SP RS Zivko Radisic stated in Banja Luka that for Srpska of strategical interest is that National Assembly would be constituted not later than December 23 this year, and government until 15 January next year.

NOVI SAD - The vice-president of Serbian Citizens Council and director of the Bureau for protection of human rights in Sarajevo Mladen Pandurevic claims that during the three and half year war in this city in the most atrocious way was killed more than 500 Serbs and that the number of victims is substantially higher - reports the Novi Sad's "Dnevnik" /daily/. Mladen Pandurevic announced that the Bureau will continue with collecting the evidence about suffering of Serbs in Sarajevo.

BELGRADE - The president of the Democratic Party of Serbia /DSS/ Vojislav Kostunica assessed in Belgrade that it is fully comprehensive and logical that the delegations of RS and FRY abandoned the Bonn conference, because it is ultimately inappropriate to open the issue of Kosovo on this conference.

MOSCOW - On the Moscow airport "Sermetjevo - 1" arrived the Russian aeroplane "Ilusin-62" with 164 passengers, which was hijacked by three armed persons on the flight Magadan-Moscow - report the agencies.
