NEWS REVIEW, REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BELGRADE - The president of FR Yugoslavia Slobodan Milosevic talked, in the separate talks, with the president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic and president in the Presidency of B&H from RS Momcilo Krajisnik, reports TANJUG. During talks was assessed that the National Assembly of REpublika Srpska should be constituted in the deadline anticipated by the Constitution of RS and in accordance with the will of the electors expressed at elections.

SARAJEVO - At the Session of PEC in Sarajevo are verified the technical results of the parliamentary elections in RS without accordance and signature of the authorised person from RS in this commission. The member of PEC Slobodan Kovac stated for SRNA that he required the postponement of verification of electoral results because of the reserves related to the delegates of Coalition for unitary and democratic B&H in the parliament of RS, stating that "still is unknown precisely how many voter cast their ballots for this Coalition and the total number of voters from Federation of B&H who came out at elections.

SARAJEVO - The minister for the civilian affairs and communications in the Council of Ministers of B&h Spasoje Albijanic informed the Greek Ambassador to Sarajevo Prokopius Manzuranis about the fact that "Serbian representatives do not obstruct the work of the joint organs but they support it, but in the framework of the Dayton Agreement, and not by the repairing the former B&H". Albijanic informed the Greek Ambassador about the law on foreign investments in B&H, stressing that it is already in preparation.

PODGORICA - The Serbian Radical Party /SRS/ and SDS reached the agreement not to enter one without another in any combination about composition of the Government of RS, i.e. to enter into the sound block and to have the joint stance towards another political partners - stated the leader of Radicals Vojislav Seselj. At the press conference in Podgorica Seselj explained that the agreement was reached with the president in Presidency of B&H from RS Momcilo Krajisnik, premier GOjko Klickovic and presiding of the presidency of SDS Aleksa Buha.

BANJA LUKA - The City Board of Serbian Democratic Party /GO SDS/ of Banja Luka assesses that "before holding the constituting session of the National Assembly of RS it is necessary to perform all necessary consultations, in order to have successful session and to avoid negative experience with establishing the local authorities in Banja Luka".

SARAJEVO - The party of Democratic Action /SDA/ and Party for B&H cancelled the participation on the establishing session of the assembly municipal council in Velika Kladusa, which was scheduled for tomorrow the Democratic National Community /DNZ/ of Fikret Abdic, reports radio Sarajevo.

BELGRADE - The Belgrade's politician and former diplomat Novak Pribicevic stated in Belgrade that Dayton agreement speaks about establishing of peace in B&H but also about securing peace in whole region.

BELGRADE - Srbica, settlement in Kosovo in which recently occurred the clash between Albanian terrorists and Serbian police is not under the control of Albanian terrorists - stated in Belgrade the assistant of the minister for internal affairs of Serbia lieutenant-general Rade Markovic.

DOBOJ - At the Doboj's cemetery "Susnjari" with religious and military tribute were buried remains of the three killed Serbian soldiers and one civilian, which Moslem soldiers killed during the offensive on Ozren-Vozuca front on September 10, 1995, Cedo Despotovic /32/, Nikola Savic /45/, and Milutin Djokic /35/, and civilian Anica Kenjic /60/, all from Vozuca.

BIJELJINA - The members of the ministry of Internal Affairs /MUP/ have the uniform which satisfy the modern European standards, stated the assistant of the minister major-general Ljubisa Borovcanin and stressed that "MUP will furthermore work on modern equipping the officials so their and security jobs would be more qualitatively done". On the occasion of the promotion of new uniforms and presentation of the technical achievements of the law enforcement, at the press conference of MUP in Bijeljina, Borovcanin stressed that the procurement of the modern equipment intended for efficacious work of police in general, is under way. The minister of the internal affairs in RS Government Slavko Paleksic assessed that the newest orders of supervisor for Brcko Robert Farrand regarding the multiethnicity of police in this city represent introducing multiethnicity not only in police but also in RS.

BRCKO - The supervisor for Brcko Robert Farrand rejected the possibility of changing his orders on ban on further process of privatisation and multiethnical justice in the part of the municipality Brcko in the territory of RS. In the written statement forwarded to SRNA supervisor Farrand assessed that the negative comments of representatives of RS Government and leaders of Serbian parties in Brcko about these orders are reflecting the specific, and perhaps and personal point of view.

PRIJEDOR - The representatives of the Hague Tribunal entered into the premises of Prijedor's Informational-Business Centre "Kozarski Vjesnik" and local radio and searched their documentation. As SRNA learns unofficially, they are looking for evidence which they would use in the trial to Milan Kovacevic in Hague, as for eventual raising indictments against another indicted for alleged war crimes.

SAMAC - The president of the Union of Syndicate of RS Cedo Volas required from the political leadership of Republika Srpska to constitute the Government as soon as possible, as well as the Assembly in order to address solving the aggravated problems of pensioners and socially vulnerable population, as well as employment. Together with the representatives of the Regional Union of Syndicates of Doboj, Volas visited Samac, where he informed representatives of the enterprise unions about the decisions of the Union of Syndicate of RS about the future activities of this organisation.

SARAJEVO - The Government of Federation of B&H /FB&H/ concluded that it is necessary to establish the agreement about the special relations of Croatia and FB&H, but without its disputable parts which, as Government deems, are violating the integrity of B&H, reports radio Sarajevo. In that regard, The Government of FB&H has brought the series of conclusions which should define the competence of the institutions of B&H, as well as the areas in which will be continued the cooperation.

BELGRADE - The Democratic Party /DSS/ appealed on the Government of FR Yugoslavia to"solve urgently the issue of double citizenship for Serbs in Croatia and accused Government of Croatia for genocide".

ALEKSINAC - Having in mind that on the South of Serbia live more than 20, 000 refugees from B&H and Croatia the humanitarians expect the greater and balanced aid of international organisations, citizens, municipalities, social and private enterprise, is concluded at the meeting of the local organisations of Red Cross in Aleksinac.
