BELGRADE - The president of the Democratic Party of Serbia Vojislav
Kostunica assessed the Agreement on double citizenship, signed by [resident
in Presidency of B&H from RS Momcilo Krajisnik and federal minister of
Foreign Affairs Milan Milutinovic, "has no any legal validity".
BELGRADE - The Socialdemocratic Party do not disagree to the double
/Yugoslavian/ citizenship of the citizens from B&H, although it primarily
endeavoured on solving that issue for Serbs in RS and Croatia - stated the
president of the Party Vuk Obradovic.
BELGRADE - The spokesman of the Citizen's Union of Serbia Goran Svilanovic
thinks that the Agreement between RS and FR Yugoslavia /FRY/ about the
double citizenship "is good news". "The double citizenship is most
interesting for refugees", assessed Svilanovic.
BANJA LUKA - In the region from Novi Grad /New City/ to Trebinje is under
way the realisation of the programme of the government of Republika Srpska
by which is anticipated the reconstruction and building new 180 housing
units - stated in Banja Luka the director of Head Office for reconstruction
and development of housing sector in RS Bogdan Latinovic. "Our Head Office
in Government of Republika Srpska for next year offered the programme of
adaptation of more than 2.000, and repairing around 500 completely new
housing units" - said Latinovic.
BRCKO - The cadre plan for multi-ethnical police in the municipality Brcko
should be finalised until Wednesday, December 17, announced the
international supervisor Robert Farrand and IPTF. According to the order of
the supervisor, the police in Brcko should have 230 members, out of which
120 Serbs, 90 Moslems and 20 Croats.
BANJA LUKA - The president of the Serbian Radical Party /SRS/ of RS Nikola
Poplasen assessed in Banja Luka that the agreement for making the
possibility of having double citizenship for all Serbs from B&H represent
great progress in the relation to the previous status.
