NOVI SAD - The president in the B&H Presidency from Republika Srpska (RS) Momcilo Krajisnik warned that " there should not and can not be any bargains about Kosmet and the future of RS, which has been attempted through 'quite' revision of the Dayton Agreement at the Bonn Conference". "We will accept and realise everything which is in accordance with the Dayton Agreement, but there is no coming out from its framework! The attempt of the quite revision of the Dayton was not accepted in Bonn, and I hope it will not be accepted at any other future conference", said Krajisnik in the interview for "Weekly news" from Novi Sad.

BIJELJINA - Before the Constitutive Session of the RS National Assembly in Dvorovi near Bijeljina at 1,00 pm began the consultative meeting of the president of the Assembly Dragan Kalinic with the representatives of the Representatives Clubs of parliamentary parties. Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) is represented at the meeting by the presiding officer of the Presidency Aleksa Buha and Nemanja Vasic, Serbian Radical Party (SRS) of RS by the president Nikola Poplasen and Mirko Blagojevic, Serbian National Union (SNS) by the vice-president Ostoja Knezevic and Svetozar Mihailovic, and Socialist Party (SP) of RS by the president Zivko Radisic and Dragoljub Krivanovic.

SARAJEVO - The RS Government, in accordance with its jurisdictions, accepting and appreciating the work of the majority of educators in the education and upbringing of the youth, and not under the pressure of the Syndicate, will find a way to pay off November salaries before 15th January 1998 - was announced by the RS Ministry of Education. In the announcement it is emphasised that the Government, in the framework of its regular work, has undertaken many activities so that the problems in the financing of the education would be overcome.

BRCKO - The Supervisor for the area of Brcko Robert Farrand confirmed in the New Year's and Christmas' greeting to the inhabitants of the town that the International Community will until further notice stay in these regions, announcing that its engagement will in future be aimed to help revitalisation of the economy and repairing infrastructure. " Larger amount of money was given for urgent reconstruction of plumbing in Brcko, English Government will help to repair transformers and electrification of the municipality, and other western countries and Japan have announced their help through the Worlds Bank and USAID", said Farrand.

BIJELJINA - The president of the Municipal Assembly of

Bijeljina Dragomir Ljubojevic and the Minister for Refugees and Displaced Persons of RS Slobodan Ecimovic agreed for those refugees and displaced persons who have property at the region of RS and are temporary settled in this town, to go return to their homes in the following period. At the meeting held in Bijeljina it has been concluded that the RS Government would do everything possible to enable return to their property for these inhabitants, and first of all to provide building material for reconstruction of damaged buildings.

BELGRADE - If the session on December 27 the RS Assembly supports the proposal of Biljana Plavsic that Mladen Ivanic should be mandatory of the new Government, RS will be divided into eastern and western part - claims Belgrade daily "Blic". The daily is announcing that Ivanic will be supported by the representatives of Serbian National Union, Socialist Party of RS and Independent Social Democrats, as well as 18 Muslim representatives, which is enough for him to be elected for the premier.

ATHENS - The Constitutive Session of the National Assembly of RS is a unique opportunity for the leadership and institutions to improve bad condition, first of all for the sake of those who have died for this country, and then for whole Serbian nation, concludes the Greece television station with the largest auditorium "Mega".

KRAGUJEVAC - The mayor of Kragujevac and the delegate of Serbian Movement for Reconstruction in the Assembly of Serbia Veroljub Stevanovic assessed that the announcements of co-called "Bosnia storm" are unrealistic, emphasising that he "is certain there will be no war in B&H". "Our tormented people had enough battles for the next two centuries", stated for SRNA Stevanovic, wishing at the same time "peaceful and fruitful new year of 1998 and Christmas to citizens and the leadership of RS, with fate in God that things will become better for all Serbian countries".

KOTOR VAROS - Emphasising the question of status of Kosovo the international community is trying in all possible ways to create new critical centres in Serbian territories - is cited in a joint announcement of the organisations of Chetniks "Ravna Gora" from RS and Serbia. "If Kosovo question would have to be solved with weapons, military formations of the organisations of Serbian Chetniks "Ravna Gora" from RS and Serbia will be first to rush to help brethren at Kosmet. We have to prove to enemies that there is and can be no trade with the Serbian land. "
