BANJA LUKA - The representatives of the Finance ministry of Republika Srpska and German Government signed in Banja Luka the Contract about the donation for technical equipping of the Public Revenue Administration, Tax Administration9n and for training staff, amounting 1,000,000 German Marks. The contract was signed by the deputy minister of Finance of RS Gordana Cenic and representative of the German Federal Ministry for economic cooperation and development Erwin Reister.

BANJA LUKA - The representatives of the Serbian Coalition for RS, consisting of Serbian Party of Krajina and Posavina /SSK&P/, Democratic Patriotic Party /DPS/, Serbian Patriotic Party /SPAS/ and People's Party of RS /NSRS/, stressed in Banja Luka that the aim of this alliance is solving Serbian national issue. "Serbian national issue should be solved firstly western from the river Drina, what is possible only if we keep RS", stressed the president of SSK&P Predrag Lazarevic in the programming of the Serbian radio-TV.

DOBOJ - The president of the Municipal Organisation of Red Cross /CK/ of Doboj Milos Cavic informed SRNA that the Service for searching of this organisation with the representatives of Zenica-Doboj and Tuzla-Podrinje canton until now have exchanged 49 citizens and bodies of 61 persons, which were registered as missing, while 56 cases remained unsolved. The reason for that Candic sees in "obstruction of the representatives of Red Crosses of two cantons".

BANJA LUKA - The minister for information of Republika Srpska /RS/ Rajko Vasic called upon all republican, regional and local pre-electoral informing citizens pay particular attention. Vasic is stressing that this appeal, first of all, is related to the broadcasting pressed and electronic materials, prepared by OSCE and local electoral commission. The call was sent "because of the need for full and detailed information of citizens of RS about pre-electoral and electoral activities and because of full realising citizen rights and obligations".

BIJELJINA - On the second day of the seminar for banking workers of 17 business banks in Republika Srpska /RS/ was talked about the place and role of the new convertible mark which will definitely be introduced into the payment system on June 22, and it is stressed that the treasuries "are already supplied with the small denominations of 50 pfenings, 1, 5, 10 convertible marks". The vice-governor of the Central Bank of B&H Ljubisa Vladusic talked with about the impending revision of existing network of business banks in RS and Federation B&H, and about new modalities of payment system between two entities.

SARAJEVO - The spokesman of the mission UN in B&H Alexander Ivanko has confirmed in Sarajevo that intensive talks about the proposal of agreement on establishing multi-ethnic police in RS are underway, in order to have, as anticipated by the Luxembourg document, until August 31, 400 policemen non-Serbs, and until the end of the year that number should reflect the results of the September's elections", explained Ivanko for SRNA.

SARAJEVO - After the meeting of the City Council of the federal part of Sarajevo and adopting the Draft Statute for forming the multiethnic city administration, OHR /office of High Representative for B&H/ thinks that the noticeable step forward was done in forming multi-ethnic city administration in Sarajevo - stated the spokesman of OHR Eshling Burn. The OSCE spokesman Nicol Schultz announced for tomorrow the first official meeting of Executive board of municipal assembly Srebrenica, what will, according to him, mark the beginning of functioning the municipal administration in Srebrenica. Ivo Ilic Gabara said that formed Work Group of the Ministry for economic relations in the Council of Ministers of B&H, who worked on the draft of permanent law about the custom policy in B&H, delivered yesterday to the Council of Ministers of B&H.

BANJA LUKA - According to unofficial and incomplete data, the Provisional electoral commission /PEC/ accepted for general elections in B&H the registration of nine coalition alliances, six from RS and three from FB&H, learns SRNA from resources close to OSCE in Banja Luka. Until closing the second, prolonged, deadline, June 15, the joint lists at the higher electoral levels will put forward the coalition "Sloga", comprised of Serbian People's Union of RS -Biljana Plavsic, Socialistic Party of RS /SPRS/ and the Party of Independent Social-democrats /SNSD/. At elections scheduled for September 12 and 13, will appear the coalition formed by Serbian Democratic /SDS/ and Serbian Radical Party /SRS/.

BANJA LUKA - The ministry of information of RS with regret concludes that the president of the Serbian Patriotic Party /SPAS/ Slavko Zupljanin last night, while being guest in the programming of Serbian radio-TV /SRT/, "presented serious and incorrect accusations on account of SRT and president of Government Milorad Dodik". In the public announcement of this ministry forwarded to SRNA is said that Mr. Zupljanin "since elections could not appear on TV screen" and that TV is the propaganda service of president of Government Milorad Dodik", and that it has no other function except to "persuade voters to vote for that option, which 46th for Serbian people".

BANJA LUKA - The Banja Luka board of the main board of SRS RS vigorously condemned, as was said, "the betraying behaviour of delegates of SNS, SP RS and SNSD at the last session of National Assembly of RS". In the announcement is stated that the delegates from these parties "are violating Dayton Agreement and strip of power RS in the favour of multi-ethnic and unitary B&H".

KOZARSKA DUBICA - The municipal board /OO/ of the Socialistic Party of RS /SPRS/ in Kozarska Dubica have elected Stojan Banjac for president, after the resignation of Branko Baric because of the "slow democratisation of the party and unfavourable relations with similar parties from surroundings". OO SPRS has elected four vice-presidents and nine new members. The executive board of the party was widened by five new members.

BANJA LUKA - The Coalition "Sloga" have shown itself as the political amateur at the last session of National Assembly of RS, because the dismissal of the president and vice-president of parliament of Republic explained by unserious reasons - stated the president of Social-Liberal Party of RS /SLSRS/ Miodrag Zivanovic. At the press conference of this party, held in Banja Luka, he said that "Sloga" is drawing unnatural moves which "are not good for the political ambient and development of democracy in RS".

BANJA LUKA - The Radical Party of RS /RSRS/ will come out at the September's elections independently - was announced today by this party. In the announcement is said that this party has retained the source principles of radicals of Nikola Pasic and has objectives to fight for survival and whole RS by the democratic means, as well as to secure the integral relations with other Serbian states.

BANJA LUKA - The president of the Associations of refugees and displaced persons for staying in RS BOsko Bajic stated at the press conference in Banja Luka that "the reasons for establishing this association are preventing dislodging and immigration of refugees as well as non-care of current authorities for this category of population". The vice-president of the association BOgdan Marjanovic stressed that temporarily in RS live 419, 000 refugees and displaced persons, announcing that in accordance with Annex of the Dayton Agreement, soon will be conducted polls in which all citizens could freely express their wish where to live.

HAGUE - On last Monday arrested Milorad Krnojelac /57/ stated, during the first hearing before the Hague Court, that he is not guilty for war crimes charged by this Court. The indictment was kept secret since June 1997, and contains seven charges related to the crimes against humanity, six charges for serious violation of Geneva Conventions on protection of civilians in war and five charges for violations war laws and customs - is stated by agencies.

SARAJEVO - The Government of Herzegovina-Neretva canton has cancelled the scheduled session because of the full discord between minister of internal affairs of this canton Valentin Coric and his deputy Sefkija Dziho about reasons of worsened security situation - reports the radio in Federal part of Sarajevo. The radio reminds that at the session had to be discussed about that, but the reports of two head persons are contradictory.

DOBOJ - The Polish brigade general Mjecislav Bjenek has taken over at the inauguration parade in the military barrack "North Pole" in Doboj the function of the commander of the Head Quarters of Nordic Polish brigade of SFOR, which until now was performing the Finish general Carl Rimpy. The general Rimpy, at the farewell press conference, stated that he is content by the former results of work of the unit by which he was commanding and SFOR in keeping peace in this region.

ATHENS - The president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic expressed in Athens the hope that "there will be enough reasonable politicians to prevent the war in Kosovo and Metohija", reminding that "the experience from B&H must be used in order to avoid arising of the conflict in this Southern Serbian province". After the meeting with the chief of the Greek diplomacy Theodoros Pangalos, as reports AFP, Mrs. has presented the stance that "all that has happened on Balkans shows that preventive measurements are decisive factor for stability and development of the region". President of RS has criticised all attempts "of different parties" to change Dayton Agreement demanding "consistent respecting of the Peace agreement".

ZVORNIK - The premier of RS Milorad Dodik and U.S. Ambassador to B&H Richard Causlarich have opened the repaired health centre in Zvornik, in which reconstruction the U.S. agency for international development (USAID) had invested million DEM. At the festivity the president of Serbian Government has repeated "that our chance is in continuation of democratic changes and further opening towards the world", because, as he said, "we provide for ourselves better life by cooperation with international friends". Dodik rejected the accusations about his relation towards this region and eastern parts of RS, as being partial, and added that this is denied by the renovated health centre in this region and also the new projects which realisation should follow.

BANJA LUKA - The president of RS Dragoljub Mirjanic, premier Milorad Dodik and representatives of 11 municipalities from RS will sign tomorrow in Banja Luka the Memorandum on understanding with the representatives of USAID, by which will start the programme of reconstruction of infrastructure in which this American agency will invest 17,7 millions of dolars.

BRCKO - Municipal Assembly of Brcko adopted the Information about implementation of the Order of supervisor for BRcko about establishing the multi-ethnic administration, but the integral discussion about this issue, which realisation in the first phase has resulted in sacking 15 workers Serbs from the municipal administration, postponed until the return of mayor and his deputies from Vienna.

BRCKO - The commission for return will perform until the end of July in the region of Brcko municipality marking of the nonoccupied houses, including the settlement Klanac, in which should be returned Moslems and Croats in spite of opposing of the local Serbian population - stated fro SRNA supervisor Robert Farrand. He denied the allegations that he or some of his deputies had promised that the process will be stopped until for Serbian refugees is provided the permanent accommodation.

DOBOJ - The representatives of MUP of RS and Federation B&H /FB&H/ from the towns of Doboj's region has agreed in the base of Swedish battalion in Sockovac on Ozren that on the daily basis they will make telephone contacts and eventually jointly participated in the actions on stamping out crime and other by law forbidden acts.

PODGORICA - The president of the Government of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic and Ambassador of Great Britain to FR Yugoslavia /FRY/ Brian Donelly have expressed the great concern because of the situation in Kosmet and pointed out on the necessity of solving problems by the political means. The Ambassador Donelly stated in Podgorica to the premier of Montenegro that British government is giving full support to the economic and political reforms in Montenegro.

BELGRADE - The spokesman of the Socialistic Party of Serbia Ivica Dacic has assessed that foreign threats with military intervention has no basis, because in the Moscow declaration both Russian and Yugoslavian party clearly supported the stance that all political problems in Kosmet have to be solved in peaceful way. "The presidents Slobodan Milosevic and Boris Yeltzin and Russian Foreign minister Yevgenij Primakov clearly said that now the move is on Albanian party, and on their mentors from abroad, to show whether they are for political dialogue in Kosmet", stressed Dacic at the press conference in Belgrade, adding that contentment with the outcome of talks in Moscow has expressed also the U.S. president Bill Clinton.

PRISTINA - Then great group of Albanian terrorists have tried illegally to cross the border between FYRM and FRY in the region of border watch-tower "General Jankovic" - learns SRNA. This was attempted last night, and terrorists did not stopped after the warning of the Yugoslav border guardians, who opened the fire.

BELGRADE - The parents of soldiers, who in Belgrade protested because of sending their sons on Kosovo, announced for tomorrow at 11,00 h new gathering, after the chief of informational service of Army of Yugoslavia /AY/ Gradimir Zivanovic allegedly told that General Staff is not competent to solve that issue.

SARAJEVO - The spokesman of the Office of High Representative for B&H Eshling Burn stated for SRNA that, as far as she is informed, nothing was done on the recently offered project of realisation joint TV of B&H. She, as unfounded, has rejected critics sent by the Croatian Democratic Community /HDZ/ on account the member of Presidency of B&H Kresimir Zubak and his signature on the Memorandum on reorganisation of television B&H, which, according to the assessments of that party, do not satisfy the interests of Croatian people.

MOSTAR - The Croatian People's Community /HNZ/ of B&H has called all Croatian parties in B&H on creating the political alliance, and Croats in the state and Diaspora to get registered for September's elections, report the Croatian radio Herceg- BOsna.

MOSTAR - By the action of MUP of Posavina County in Orasje was broke the chain of illegal entering into Croatia from FB&H the citizens of Iran, Egypt, Turkey and FRY - report the Croatian radio Herceg-Bosna.

SARAJEVO - The governor of the Central Bank of B&H /CBB&H/ Peter Nicoll has denied the claims of particular media that this joint financial institution had approved credits to the National Bank of B&H /NBB&H/ in the course of 1996. In the announcement forwarded to SRNA the governor Nicoll claims that the financial transactions of this kind "are not possible, provided that CBB&H started with work on August 11, 1997". Nicoll has rejected claims that CBB&H has approved credit to NBB&H amounting 30 millions DEM and that NBB&H gave credits to former governmental institutions with the permission of the Steering board of CBB&H.

SRBINJE - The president of municipal assembly of Srbinje Ljubo Veljovic with assistants has reached an agreement with the representatives of French battalion, with the deputy commander colonel Didier at the head, about easing tensions in the city, caused by brutal arresting of the director of primary school "Veselin Maslesa" Milorad Krnojelac. It was concluded that in the region of municipality Srbinje will no more be members of the German battalion and that the zone of responsibility in this area today returned to the competence of the French battalion.

SRBINJE - Because of uncertainty when the international supervisors will return into the registering centres, the Local Electoral Commission /LEC/ Srbinje thinks that it cannot be responsible for eventual non-performed full registering of voters in this municipality - is the basic conclusion of the session of this body. The supervisors of the three centres for registration in Srbinje municipality, because of unknown reason have left the city on June 15 in the morning and they did not appear again. Because of such situation, LEC has sent its stances and conclusions to the responsible factors in the municipality, PEC and OSCE, from which is expected understanding and assistance.

VUKOVAR - The president of the Serbian People's Council /SNV/ Milorad Pupovac thinks that in solving the problem of return of Serbian refugees into Croatia should be reached a consensus, so this issue will not be submitted to the political or some other manipulation. "In order to have fully successful return of refugees, in the coordination teams for monitoring return and on national and local level must be represented also Serbs" - said Pupovac in addressing to the reporters after finished session of SNV in Zagreb.

PRISTINA - Three armed Albanian terrorists, near the village Grabovac, have kidnapped the engineer Miodrag Ilic and the driver Predrag Milic, the workers of Power Utility of Serbia and lead them into unknown direction.
