PALE - The Metropolitan of Dabro-Bosnia Nikolaj served in a Church of Uspenja Presvete Bogorodice in Pale a moleban to Presveta Bogorodica, after which the miraculous icon of Presveta Bogorodica Trojerucica from Hilandar, had been escorted from Pale eparchy. The occasion was attended by numerous believers. The icon is on her way to Veljine in Srpsko Sarajevo where believers in a Church of Sveti Vasilije Ostroski in the next three days will have the opportunity to kiss her and to take a bow.

BELGRADE - The U.S. Ambassador to the UN Richard Holbrooke will have talks today with Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic, the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade announced. Along with Holbrooke the U.S. Ambassador to Macedonia Christopher Hill will also arrive. Their intention is to repeat to Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic requests that the Contact Group had set for solving the Kosovo crisis. "Hoolbrooke will meet Milosevic as soon as he come to Belgrade", it has been confirmed for SRNA from the U.S. Embassy.

VIENNA - All military options for preventing of violation in Kosovo and Metohija have already been analysed, said for Vienna daily "Standard" unnamed NATO representative, participant at the 15th NATO meeting in Vienna. The same source said that the NATO had checked all military options which should stop conflicts with possible air strikes.

BANJALUKA - The Republika Srpska (RS) President Biljana Plavsic received in Banjaluka Russian Ambassador to B&H Filip Filipovic Sydorski who conveyed invitation of the Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Evgeny Primakov for her to come in September in an official visit to Russia. After the meeting Sydorski said that he had talks with Biljana Plavsic on details regarding first visit of the RS President to Russia during which many questions regarding economic and cultural cooperation, should be discussed.

SARAJEVO - The RS President Biljana Plavsic and the RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik will have talks tomorrow in Banjaluka with the International Community High Representative Carlos Westendorp on problems regarding putting into circulation of the new KM, stated the OHR spokeswoman Aisling Byrne. At the pressconference in Sarajevo she assessed that in some business banks in RS "on political grounds there is certain opposition toward new B&H currency".

DOBOJ - The Finnish Ambassador to B&H Maty Kaponen will visit Doboj on June 25th where he should put into operation repaired facilities for water supply which building and reconstruction with several donations was helped by Finland. Agenda of the visit includes a reception at the Doboj Municipal Assembly President Mirko Stojcinovic.

SARAJEVO - A candidate of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) for the B&H Presidency member is Momcilo Krajisnik, and first on the list for the House of Representatives of the B&H Parliamentary Assembly Radomir Lukic, has been decided on the last night session of the Party Main Board , held in Pale. Along with a candidate for the RS President Nikola Poplasen who were proposed by the Serbian Radical Party (SRS), the SDS Main Board proposed for the RS vice-president a Mayor of Srpsko Sarajevo Mirko Sarovic.

BANJALUKA - Vice-president of the Party of Independent Socialdemocrats (SNSD) Branko Dokic said in Banjaluka that Luxembourg declaration on the peace implementation in B&H had a few very affirmative stances, with focus on a request of the International Community High Representative Carlos Westendorp that a help for RS should be increased in 1998. At the press- conference he stressed that there were some deviation regarding the Peace Agreement, giving as an example the Law on Privatisation. Both entities' obligation is to make this law, disputing in the same time its passing at the state B&H level.

BANJALUKA - The OSCE spokesman in Banjaluka Paul Hawkins said at the press- conference in Banjaluka that a deadline for voters registration, coalitions and alliances for participation in elections in September is June 27th and it would not be extended. Hawkins expressed concern with the TANJUG reports on work of the executive Board in Srebrenica, and called on journalists to make contacts with the OSCE office representatives in Banjaluka before their reports.

BANJALUKA - The IPTF spokesman for the region of Bihac and banjaluka Alun Roberts said at the special press-conference in Banjaluka that "last night in Nevic Polje near Novi Travnik an accident took place in which two persons have lost their lives". According to him, last night around 11:00p. m. in a garage, ownership of a Croat in Nevic Polje an explosive device has been planted what cause death of two people and significant material damage.

SARAJEVO - Chairman of the B&H Presidency Alija Izetbegovic will ask for a revision of the Dayton Peace Accord if election results in September are to be negative. In an interview with Sarajevo's "Vecernje novine" he said that the Muslim side "looks for complete implementation of the Dayton Agreement or for its change in order for a state that will function normally to be provided".

PRISTINA - Around 800 Serbs, mainly women, children and old men - because of every day armed attacks of the Albanian terrorists - run away from villages of the Klina Municipality: Jelovac, Dusevici, Josanica, Dolovi, Mlecani, Kijevo and Grabanica to Klina - Srna has learned from the Klina Municipal Assembly. The same source confirmed that there was no enough food and medicine for these refugees. In a village of Kijevo there are still around 60 families who are having great difficulties to withstand the attacks of the Albanian terrorists.

PRISTINA - Municipal authorities in Obilic confirmed for SRNA that near a coal mine Belacevac nine Serbs disappeared, most of them were employees at the "Elektroprivreda Kosova and Metohije". Three of them were kidnapped yesterday around 9:00a.m. while other six have vanished on the Belacevac- village of Grabovac road.

BELGRADE - President of the Serbian Renewal Movement (SPO) Vuk Draskovic said in Belgrade that "we must prepare ourselves for a decisive battle because defence of Serbia and Kosovo is a priority". "Situation in Kosovo is more than just dramatic since Kosov is a victim of the Albanian agression and its Great-Albania nationalism", said Draskovic. "The FRY Army is not capable to close the border from where terrorists have been transferred as well as its arms".

VIENNA - The FRY Ambassador to Austria Dobrosav Veizovic submitted a protest in Vienna to the OSCE Secretary General Giancarlo Aragona in regard to recent statements of the chief of mission of this institution in Albania Dane Everts who said that "Serbs open camps in Kosmet". Dutch Ambassador Everts stated on June 17th for paper "Morgen" that he "have the information according to which Serbs are opening camps in Kosovo and Metohija for Albanians.

BERLIN - German paper "Junge welt" condemned reports on the German television on events in Kosovo, saying that it is about contradictory and tendetiously installed reports. "It is well known that TV thinks of viewers as if they are fools but it is not known that reports on Kosovo are in the same line" said the "Junge welt" commentator Riner Roup analysing a series of tendetious stories on alleged "systematic ethnic cleansing and violation of human rights".

BERLIN - Berlin daily "Tages Spiegel" conveys the Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Evgeniy Primakov statement that in the case of retreat of Serbian troops from Kosovo, world would face with another mass exodus of Serbs from Kosovo. Serbia need more time to fulfil requests of the international community for which he said that there were "unrealistic".

BANJALUKA - At tomorrow's continuation of the 6th session of the Republika Srpska (RS) National Assembly in Banjaluka delegates will discuss a series of propositions and bills in areas of judiciary and financing, a package of laws on privatisation in RS. Bills on cessation of the Law on Using of the Abandoned Property and changes and amendments of the Law on housing relations will also be discussed.

BANJALUKA - The RS Government in Banjaluka accepted 17 of 18 proposed amendments on the Law on Privatisation of state capital, which is going to be on the agenda on the session of the RS National Assembly on June 24th in Banjaluka. At the beginning of the session members of the expert team analysed very carefully amendments on a package of 5 law documents regarding owner transformation of the state property. Director of the RS Main Office for privatisation Borislav Obradovic said that transfer of the state capital into private ownership was a main goal in process of privatisation in RS.

BANJALUKA - The RS Minister of Refugees and Displaced Persons Miladin Dragicevic and head of the Republic of Croatia Department Lovre Pejakovic signed in Banjaluka Protocol on procedure of organised return. Dragicevic said that with the Protocol prerequisites have been made for return without special conditions, on free will and determination of every individual who wants to return".

BELGRADE - Tonight in the Sava Centre at 6:00p.m. "Preelection gathering on elections in RS" will be held, it has been confirmed for SRNA in the Sava Centre information service. Association of Serbs in FRY organizes this gathering and arrival of the RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik and President of the RS Socialist Party Zivko Radisic has been announced.

NOVI SAD - President of the Reform Democratic Party (RDP) Assembly from Vojvodina Miodrag Isakov said in Novi Sad that the RDP representatives would participate the convention of the Party of Independent Socilademocrats which is due to be held on June 25th and 26th in Banjaluka. Isakov explained that the visit was organised in order for concrete arrangements to be made regarding economic and political cooperation between RS and Vojvodina.

SARAJEVO - People from Srpsko Sarajevo and Srpska Ilidza with the clergy and numerous representatives from public and political life greeted the icon of Presveta Bogorodica Trojerucica from Hilandar. With the church flags and with flowers people came out to meet the miraculous icon and escorted it her to the Church of Sveti Vasilije Ostroski.

PRISTINA - In the village of Trnje, near Suva Reka, last night Ilijas Vranovci has been killed - Media Centre from Pristina announced. According to the same source retired employee with Serbia Internal Affairs Ministry Ilijas Vranovci has been killed by a large group of terrorists in his house.

PRISTINA - After yesterday's attack of the Albanians terrorists on workers in a mine coal Belacevac , when nine workers had been kidnapped and some of them were harassed, production on the coal mine has been stopped and no Serb, Montenegrin and a Gypsy came to work, SRNA correspondent reports. Albanian terrorists have been stopping buses with Albanian workers on their way to job.

CELAREVO - The Republika Srpska (RS) Minister of Refugees and Displaced Persons Miladin Dragicevic said at the meeting with refugees from former B&H in Celarevo that maximum efforts were being made for making of conditions for return of refugees. At the meeting, which was attended by hundreds of refugees situated in Backa Palanka, Zrenjanin, Kikinda, Subotica and Novi Sad, Dragicevic said that 53 collective shelters were still in RS with 6,439 persons and by now relevant institutions received 21, 000 requests from these people for apartments.

BANJALUKA - The RS Ministry of Information denied rumors in Banjaluka that some leaders and politicians from RS were engaged in cigarettes smuggling, on the border crossing Gradiska. In the announcement for SRNA information of the Republic Customs Administration were cited that between June 19th and June 20th on the border crossing Gradiska, on a form C, truck drivers Mezeldzin Mojsi, Abazi Ikmet and Dzemaidi Hevzi reported that they were transporting goods for SFOR in Dervisi near Banjaluka.

BANJALUKA - President of the RS Serbian Radical Party (SRS) Nikola Poplasen thinks that in the international community there is a clear intention for RS to be made more unstable, less important and gradually integrated in B&H. "That kind of B&H should have puppet authority and should be put under control of some western powers", said in an interview with "Banjalucke novine" Nikola Poplasen who was dismissed from the position of vice- president of the RS National Assembly.

PRISTINA - During yesterday's attack of Albanian terrorists on a bus and vehicles of the Serbia Electric Power Industry eight workers have been kidnapped from a coal mine Belacevac near Obilic - Zoran, Pero and Dusan Andjancic, Filip Gojkovic, Dragan Vukmirovic, Marjan Buha, Mirko Trifunovic, Srboljub Savic and Bozidar Lempic from Vucitrn. Their destiny is uncertain but there are assumptions that they have been taken deep in the region of Drenica.

VUKOVAR - Delegation of the Independent Democratic Party (SDSS) and the Croatian Democratic Community (HDZ) have not reached an agreement in Vukovar on a number increase of Serbs in the City government bodies, which is one of the conclusion from the recent meeting of the highest representatives of two parties. The SDSS representatives asked for ten places for Serbs in the City government bodies and the HDZ delegation agreed on half of that number.

VUKOVAR - President of the Serbian People's Council Milorad Pupovac said in Vukovar that property , communication and traffic issues along with mutual organisation are the biggest problems that Serb returnees are dealing with. Many Serb returnees have problems with Croatian refugees from B&H but also with domestic Croatian people who are in their houses.

VUKOVAR - Another renewed building was opened in Vukovar, for 10 families of different nationalities to move in. With presence of Belgium ambassador to Croatia Franc Hinkens and the UN Secretary General for Croatia Soren Feraderian. The building was financed by the Belgium Government with $U.S. 235,000, and contractors were enterprises from eastern Slavonia and part of Croatia.
