    Geneva, Feb 6 (CNA) - As the second round of proximity talks draws to a close work has already started for the third round probably in New York in the latter part of May, with two things uppermost in everybody's mind, the issues of territory and ref ugees.

    Western sources close to the talks believe the present formula of proximity talks could serve for the next rounds of UN talks, which may continue in the same format until the parties are ready to sign some kind of agreement . CNA MM/MK/EC 2000

    [02] Proximity talks - Envoys - Visits to Cyprus

    By Maria Myles Geneva, Feb 6 (CNA) - Representatives of countries involved in the peace effort on Cyprus intend to visit the island between the end of the second round of UN sponsored proximity talks and the start of the third round, expected to begin on 15 May i n New York, in a bid to maintain the momentum the talks have created.

    Britain's envoy Sir David Hannay will probably visit Cyprus after the March 10. Germany's representative Detlev Graf zu Rantzau and US Presidential Emissary Alfred Moses and State Department Coordinator on Cyprus Thomas Weston are also due to visit the island.
