ENDS, CYPRUS NEWS AGENCY1450:CYPPRESS:05[05] UN Cyprus envoy - Greek FMAthens, Nov 30 (CNA) - The UN are not in a hurry to get a response to the invitation to talks from the Greek and Turkish Cypriot sides but hope both will be in Geneva in January for the resumption of the UN-led proximity talks.The UN Secretary-General's Special Adviser on Cyprus, Alvaro de Soto, speaking here after an hour-long meeting with Greek Foreign Minister George Papandreou, also said the UN do not consider statements by the Turkish Cypriot side that it may not participate in the next round of UN-led proximity talks as its final word on the matter.
