Nicosia, Mar 3 (CNA) - Albanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Paskal Milo, who began a three-day official visit to Cyprus yesterday, was received this morning by President Glafcos Clerides.

Today, Milo will also meet with House of Representatives President Spyros Kyprianou, Finance Minister Takis Klirides and Nicosia Mayor Lellos Demetriades, and will have official talks with his Cypriot counterpart Ioannis Kasoulides. CNA/MK/RG/2001

Nicosia, Mar 3 (CNA) - Cyprus is hosting the first workshop of the 2001 Europe Audiovisual Programme (EAVE) a one year curriculum of continuous long-distance training punctuated by three workshops for professionals in the audiovisual industry that aims to improve upon artistic creativity and to nurture entrepreneurial spirit amongst European producers.

The workshop, which starts today and ends on March 11, under the auspices of the Press and Information Office, will focus on development. CNA/MK/RG/2001

Nicosia, Mar 3 (CNA) - The British Bases in Cyprus have put into effect measures at the Royal Air Force (RAF) airport in Akrotiri, to prevent any outbreak of foot and mouth disease.

Lieutenant Colonel Air Force Geoff Booth said that only two passenger flights a week were scheduled, one on Monday and one on Thursday. CNA/RG/2001
