[08] Enclaved - Third Vienna Agreement

Nicosia, Aug 1 (CNA) -- The implementation of the 1975 Third Vienna Agreement, to secure among other things normal living conditions for Greek Cypriots in the island's Turkish occupied areas, would mark a "temporary measure" towards an overall settlement of the Cyprus question, which will have a positive impact on the final settlement, the association of Free United Karpass said here today.

The Association, representing people from the most eastern tip of the country, the Karpass peninsula, called on President Glafcos Clerides, the Greek government and the UN Secretary General to seek implementation of the agreement, as a first step in the right direction.
