    Nicosia, Jan 11 (CNA) -- The leaders of the Greek and Turkish Cypriot communities, President Glafcos Clerides and Rauf Denktash, will meet again this afternoon, for a second time in five hours, CNA has learned.

    The two leaders met for 40 minutes this morning at the residence of the UN Secretary-General's Acting Special Representative Zbigniew Wlosowicz, situated in the UN-controlled buffer zone in Nicosia. They exclusively discussed the question of missing persons.

    The second meeting will also take place at Wlosowicz's residence.

    Nicosia, Jan 11 (CNA) -- The leaders of the Greek and Turkish Cypriot communities, Cyprus President Glafcos Clerides and Rauf Denktash, are holding their second meeting today to discuss exclusively the question of missing persons.

    The two leaders met earlier this morning for 40 minutes. Both meetings take place at the residence of the UN Secretary-General's Acting Special Representative Zbigniew Wlosowicz, situated in the UN-controlled buffer zone in Nicosia.

    On his way to the second meeting, President Clerides was accompanied by Under-Secretary to the President Pantelis Kouros and Presidential Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs Takis Christopoulos.

    President Clerides entered the buffer zone, near Nicosia airport under UN control since the 1974 Turkish invasion and occupation of Cyprus' northern third, in the presidential car bearing the Cyprus Republic flag.

    Denktash was expected to enter the buffer zone from the Turkish-occupied northern part of the island.

    Nicosia, Jan 11 (CNA) -- President Glafcos Clerides concluded an hour and a half long meeting in the UN-controlled buffer zone in Nicosia where he met for the second time today with Turkish Cypriot leader Rauf Denktash to discuss exclusively the issue of missing persons.

    Both meetings were held at the residence of UN Secretary General's Acting Special Representative in Cyprus Zbigniew Wlosowicz, situated near Nicosia international airport, in the UN-controled buffer zone.

    The first meeting that took place in the morning lasted 40 minutes whereas the second meeting one and a half hours.

    Nicosia, Jan 11 (CNA) - The Greek Cypriot Social Democrats Movement (KISOS) and the Turkish Cypriot Patriotic Unity Movement (PUM) have agreed to set up a joint committee, the objective of which will be to help efforts to solve the Cyprus problem.
