    Nicosia, June 1 (CNA) - Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment, Costas Themistocleous, leaves today for Bali, Indonesia, to represent Cyprus in the fourth and last meeting of the preparatory committee for the international summit on Environment and Development, to take place in Johannesburg in September.

    Papapetrou says Cem's statements "negative"

    Nicosia, Jun 1 (CNA) - Government Spokesman Michalis Papapetrou has described statements by Turkish Foreign Minister Ismail Cem, that Ankara supports a solution of "two states" in Cyprus, as "totally negative".

    Papapetrou said "there can be no solution to the Cyprus problem based on the model of two states and the responsibility will lie solely with the Turkish side".
