    Strasbourg, Jul 8 (CNA) -- The Council of Europe (CoE) may not have been very happy about the way in which the organisation has been involved in the preparation of the Annan plan, CoE Secretary General Walter Schwimmer said here yesterday in his opening speech at a meeting with Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot political party representatives.

    Nicosia, Jul 8 (CNA) Chairman of the outgoing Cyprus Telecommunications Authority board, Stathis Papadakis, pledged here Tuesday that CYTA is ready to implement its vision and leave a message for tomorrow, noting however the need to obtain enterprise autonomy and flexibility that only the state can offer.

    Speaking at a press conference where he presented the organisations 2002 Annual report, Papadakis noted that mobile telephony has reached 63%, CYTAs market share in the internet business through the CYTANET service is 60% while Soeasy prepaid Mobile telephony subscribers soared to 147 thousand.
