Larnaca, Aug 23 (CNA) Cyprus President Tassos Papadopoulos said here Monday the government does not wish to exercise its right to veto Turkeys efforts to gain a date to commence accession negotiations with the EU in December but wants Turkey to abide by the acquis communautaire.
