    Britain's Prince Charles, who arrived in Greece unexpectedly Monday landed on the all-male monastic community of Mt. Athos at noon Tuesday, an official said.

    Prince Charles who is on a cruise on board a Greek shipowner Yannis Latsis' yacht, arrived at the Monastery of Vatopedi in a pseedboat. The yacht anchored off Mt. Athos arriving there from the island of Limnos.

    The prince was accompanied by four personal security men and was greeted by the monastery's monks who showed him around the monastery's treasures.

    Prince Charles said he would spend about three hours in the monastry and then continue his cruise of the Aegtean islands.
