Messages of condolence continued to pour into Greece Thursday over the
"Express Samina" shipwreck in which at least 63 people were killed and
an estimated 14 were still unaccounted for after the ferry scraped a
rocky outcropping two nautical miles off of the island of Paros in the
Aegean late Tuesday.
Queen Elizabeth of Britain and Israeli President Moshe Katsav sent
letters of condolences over the tragedy to Greece's President Costis
Stephanopoulos.

Olympiakos Piraeus beat Heerenveen of the Netherlands 2-0 at the in a
Group C match for the European soccer Champions League at the Olympic
Stadium in Athens on Wednesday night.
Both the goals for the Greek team were scored by Giovanni Silva De
Oliveira in the 52nd minute and the 69th minute.
