[03] Moderate earthquake rattles Zakynthos

A moderate earthquake rattled the Ionian island of Zakynthos early Monday, but no damage was immediately reported

The earthquake, measuring 5.0 on the open-ended Richter scale, was recorded at 00:16 a.m. with its epicentre 252 kilometers south-southwest of Athens, in the sea region south of Zakynthos, the Athens Geodynamic Institute said.
