[01] Bomb scare at national economy, finance ministries

The national economy and finance ministries were evacuated shortly after noon on Tuesday, after an anonymous caller said that a bomb had been placed in the buildings.

The majority of the staff are now outside the two ministries and waiting in the street below.

Sunny in most parts of Greece on Tuesday, with a chance of local showers in the northwest. Winds northerly, moderate to strong. In the north, temperatures will range from 9C to 21C; on the rest of the mainland from 12C to 24C; and in the islands from 13C to 25C. Sunny in Athens, with temperatures between 14C and 24C.
