Equity pricesrose marginally at the opening of trading Thursday on the
Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with limited demand by buyers and
uninspiring price movements.
The general share price index gained just 0.15 percent to stand at
2,586.98 points at 11:15 am, and turnover was 26.1 million euros, of
which 20.2 million euros were block trades.
The FTSE/ASE 20 index for blue chip and heavy traded stocks was up 0.09
percent, the FTSE/ASE MID 40 index rose 0.21 percent and the FTSE/ASE
SmallCap 80 index edged up 0.06 percent.
Of the stocks moved, 158 were up, 65 were down and 158 were unchanged.
