[01] Greek inflation jumps to 4.0 percent in March

Greek inflation surged to 4.0 percent in March from 3.4 percent the previous month, on a year-on-year basis, National Statistics Service said on Tuesday.

The monthly consumer price index jumped 2.5 percent in March from February.

NSS said that the harmonised annual inflation rate jumped to 4.4 percent in March.

[02] Memorial service for Britain's Queen Mother

A memorial service for Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother will be held Sunday in Athens.

The memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 29 Filellinon Street off central Syntagma Square, at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday.

The Queen Mother, who died on Saturday, March 30, at the age of 101, was a much-loved member of the British royal family. Her life, spanning over a century, was devoted to the service of her country, the fulfilment of her royal duties, and the support of her family.

[03] Weather Forecast: Scattered cloud on Tuesday

Light cloud is forecast with brief showers mainly in the west. Winds variable, moderate to strong. On the northern mainland, temperatures will range from 2C to 15C; in the Ionian and on the rest of the mainland from 7C to 20C; and in the Aegean islands from 10C to 19C. Scattered cloud in Athens with temperatures between 9C and 19C. Light rain in Thessaloniki, with temperatures from 2C to 15C.
