The majority of individual sector indices were moving upward, with the biggest gains in Investments, up 1.55 percent; Retail Trade, up 1.24 percent; and Telecoms, up 0.79 percent; and the biggest losses in IT, down 0.99 percent; Textiles, down 0.46 percent; and the Parallel Market, down 0.42 percent. The FTSE/ASE 20 index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.10 percent, the FTSE/ASE MID 40 index was up 0.30 percent, and the FTSE/ASE SmallCap 80 index was up 0.41 percent. Of the stocks moved, 135 were up, 49 were down and 70 were unchanged. [04] Agreement opens way for Greek aid to Bosnia29/07/2002 23:48:59SARAJEVO (ANA - M. Vihou) -- Greece signed a bilateral agreement with Bosnia Herzegovina on Monday worth 19.5 million euros in developmental aid to be allocated by Athens to Sarajevo over the next five-year period. The agreement falls within the framework of Greeces recently approved and ambitious Balkan Reconstruction Plan. Improvements in infrastructure, especially transports and the energy sector, as well as investments and modernisation of Bosnias public administration are the main areas were the Greek aid will be funneled. The agreement was signed in the Bosnian capital by visiting Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Andreas Loverdos and Bosnian Alternate Foreign Minister Ivica Misic.
