Rain and storms are expected throughout the country on Monday, with snowfall on high ground in northern Greece. The weather is expected to improve from the afternoon, initially in the west and then in the rest of the country. Winds east-southeasterly, strong to very strong in the north; south-southeasterly, strong to very strong, in the rest of the country, rising to gale force over the Aegean. Temperatures will range from 8 to 13 C in the north and 11-16 C in the rest of the country.

Athens will be cloudy with rain and storms with temperatures ranging from 12-16 C. The same in Thessaloniki, with temperatures of 10-14 C.
