Most parts of the country will see sunshine at the start of the day, gradually turning to cloud, rain and storms from the west in the afternoon. Snow is expected on mountain peaks in the north. Winds variable, strong to very strong, turning gale force at sea. In the north, temperatures will range from 10C to 20C; on the rest of the mainland from 16C to 25C; and in the Aegean islands from 17C to 27C. Temperatures in Athens between 17C and 25C; and in Thessaloniki from 13C to 20C.
