[01] To subscribers of the ANA' s new Olympic 2004 Bulletin

Dear Subscribers,

The Athens News Agency (ANA) is proud to announce that its new on-line service, the Olympics 2004 Bulletin, was launched last week on a pilot basis. The new service features the latest news and information concerning 2004 Olympic Games preparations as well as numerous special features on Greece in general, and more specifically, the greater Athens area.

We have started this new service on a test basis with free access for all our subscribers (through the ns.ana.gr e-address and under the heading ''Olympics 2004 Bulletin'') - with daily news items focusing directly on the Games, Olympic sports events (test events), a daily Olympic Games digest along with our special features, all of which are accompanied by photographic coverage.

The new service's pilot phase continues with on-going and daily Olympics news and information. Additionally, the first week's features (Feb. 16-23) will be re-transmitted over the same introductory phase.

The expanded and full-time service will debut March 8 on a subscribers-only basis. Access, therefore, will be limited to subscribers of the new service.

Subscription rates are:

A. News Bulletin

Embassies: 300 euros + VAT/ per month

Domestic and Cypriot media: 400 euros + VAT/ per month

International press agencies: 1,500 euros + VAT/ per month

Foreign media outlets (print): 500 euros + VAT/ per month

Foreign media outlets (broadcast): 600 euros + VAT/ per month

National news agencies: 800 euros + VAT/ per month

A 25-percent discount on the aforementioned rates is available for subscriptions between Aug. 3, 2004 and Oct. 30, 2004.

B. Photo-stories

The cost per feature ranges from 200 to 800 euros (plus VAT), depending on the complexity of the feature and the number of photographs included.

C. Photo service (comprehensive): 600 euros + VAT/ per month

[02] Weather Forecast: Warmer on Tuesday

Warmer, cloudy weather is forecast in all parts of the country with showers in the west, north and eastern Aegean islands. The mainland and Ionian Sea will be misty in the morning. Winds southerly, moderate to strong, turning very strong at sea. Temperatures in Athens 8C to 16C and in Thessaloniki from 5C to 11C.
