South Korea President Roh Moo-Hyun arrived in Athens on Sunday
afternoon for a three-day official visit at at the invitation of his
Greek counterpart Karolos Papoulias.
Shortly after his arrival, Public Order Minister Vyron Polydoras,
representing the government, accompanied the South Korean head of state
at a wreath-laying cereomony at a monument in the Papagos district of
east Athens dedicated to the Greek servicemen who fell in combat during
the Korean War (1950-53).
The South Korean president heads a large delegation of Korean officials
and businesspeople.
