Tourist Development Minister Aris Spiliotopoulos inaugurated the 2nd
Summer Holidays Expo on Thursday evening, that will be operating at
the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre until June 1.
Spiliotopoulos said that Greece is more than ready in light of the
summer tourist season, while the necessary preparation for the
winter season has been underway for some time.
"We are not interested in short-term gains. We are interested in
essence," the minister said and underlined the effectiveness of the
new strategy being applied by the ministry to promote a modern model
for all the year round.
