Economy and Finance Minister George Alogoskoufis in Parliament on
Tuesday night said that "the bill for the prevention and suppression
of the legality of revenue from criminal activities is
institutional," adding that "if the government wished to withdraw an
individual, it could do so in a manner with which it appointed him."
Reinforcing the image of an "institutional bill", Alogoskoufis
reminded that in the text is incorporated a European Union Directive
and recommendations by the Financial Action Group (FATF), "the
internationally recognized agency against the laundering of black
money and the financing of terrorism."
